Close to actual thing
Closest brand I can find that tastes like actual sweet and sour and doesn’t cost much. I prefer to make it from scratch as it’s only a few simple ingredients. But love the fact it has chucks in veg in it already

Kids might like it
Kids would probably like it but for an adult it is too sweet

Handy to add to chicken to make a meal
I always buy this sauce to have in the pantry when I want to make a chicken stirfry. The sauce has so much flavour and really finishes off the meal. The only downside is there’s too much pineapple.

Always have a jar in the pantry!
We've used this product for many years and still love it. We usually add chicken to this, with rice on the side and there's never any left over. It's quick and easy to prepare and there is always a jar of this in the pantry.

Perfect for stir fry
Kan Tong's sweet and sour sauce is just ideal in terms of sweetness and sourness, it has a unique flavor and produces a dish that everyone enjoys.. I also serve it with a pulled-apart roast chicken and rice or potato mash; it's simple, delicious, and inexpensive.

Convenient
A convenient sauce to make your own sweet and sour dish. I however found it slightly too sweet and strong of a flavour. The addition of fresh vegetables may balance this flavour out, which is what I may have to do next time. The jar easily serves 4, and a 4-star health rating is great.

Personally found it very sweet so much it overpowered any other flavour. Also wasn’t close to take away sweet anc sour pork .

super quick
I love eating sweet and sour pork. I always buy this brand. It's and easy just pour in the jar into your pork. I love adding capsicums and other veggies with it.

Sweet and quick meal
It is bit extra sweet. But I use this when iam I hurry to make it a meal. Mix pn saute vegetables. Taste good.

Our go to quick meal sauce
This is fantastic for a quick fuss free weeknight dinner. All the family enjoy it (such a bonus with 5 kids!) The flavour is amazing but I do get concerned about the level of sweetness. Sweet IS in the name but I feel a slight reduction would still be appropriate.

A bit bland
A very mild flavour, fairly bland and unbalanced. Ok if you're in a hurry but sweet and sour made from scratch is better

Love the flavour
We have used this product and brand for many years. It is flavourful and the right amount for a family of 4. Does exactly as it states. Real chucks of pineapple in the jar.

Quick and Easy
Just the thing for a Quick, Easy and Tasty meal. I saute my diced pork (or Chicken) in a pan and then add to the warmed sauce and simmer for a couple of minutes. Tip: I rinse the jar with a Tablespoon of Apple Cider vinegar and add to the sauce gives it a bit more "Tang"
