Max Factor False Lash Effect Voluptuous Mascara

I wanted to love this mascara! The brush looked like it’d work wonders for my lushes but I found it quite awkward to apply only to my lashes without getting any on my kids - both sides, even when removing some of the excess product. Once it was on though it did last! Just messier than what I want to quickly be able to apply.

Huge fan of the maxfactor false lash range so tried this when it came out. Nice mascara formula, holds well all day and was able to nicely separate lashes with brush. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the brush shape..I still prefer the original as it’s faster to create perfectly colonised and separated lashes with. Always get compliments when I use the original false lash effect mascara (non waterproof variety)

This is definitely one of the best makeup products i have bought at a supermarket.

I've been using Max Factor Masterpiece Mascara, and Masterpiece Max Mascara for over 10 years, and those are amazing! 2 of my favourite mascaras ever. So I found this one disappointing in comparison, as well as a few of their other new ones. The wand was too big and left marks all over my eyelids. Annoying to use. Stick to the original Max Factor Mascara and you won't be disappointed!

I'm not one for sitting in beauty salons, but always wanted false lashes, so I decided I would try this mascara, and wow o wow, my lashes looked awesome, no clumping of mascara as I've previously experienced with ones I have tried, and had several comments, and people asking where I had got my false lashes from, the look on there face was unbelievable when I had told them they weren't false, it was a mascara that I had purchased.

I didn't love this product. I guess it is ok, but definitely can find better mascaras in the market.

I love many max factor products especially as they are super affordable and generally really great products. but this one was a little underwhelming. i found it quite clumpy, but if you wipe some of the product off the want to apply it is better. I found the wand a little too large for my eye and it was then difficult for me to apply and not get it all over my base! I found that it worked more on lash length than volume which was a little disappointing as I purchased it with hopes of achieving both. I think this product was a little overpriced for the quality. But, max factor usually is a great brand for mascara!
