Illusion hair straightener
Upon opening the box, I was impressed with the colour of the straightener. Was easy to turn on and had a digital temperature display. After putting the straighteners over my hair a few times I noticed it wasn’t really gripping my hair? After closer inspection I noticed that the plates do not touch. Unsure if this is a flaw or how the straightener is meant to be, but for someone that has fine hair they will not be great as the hair isn’t getting heated and straightened.

Perfect results
I achieved such great results using this straightener. I love that there a temperature control buttons so that I could adapt the temp to my hair type. The result was smooth, shiny hair with no flyaways.

Light hair straightener
I tried this straightener for a few days and found it really easy to use. It was quick to turn on and heat up. I liked the way you can change the heat depending on hair type. It was quick to do all of my hair. The only thing I didn't like was how I felt my hair pull along the ceramic plates.

Remington Illusion Straightener
Remington Illusion Straightener is super easy to use. The temperature range is good and being able to lower the temp is very helpful when I've had my hair treated. It heats up quickly and I can easily straight all of my hair within 5 mins. It's great for busy people like me! Overall, it is a fantastic straightener and very easy and comfortable to use.

Light weight and fast results
I was really pleased with this straightener. It looks great, light weight to use, heats up quickly and gives a smooth and fast result. Much lighter than my old straightener but gives an equally good result and my hair appeared shiny and smooth. Variable temperature settings are a plus. This also gave a nice soft curl effect too. The little heat protecting cover is handy for storage but is a little small to rest it on when hot and in use or for cooling down after use. Other than that I couldn’t fault this product.

Absolutely love it!
Wow. Where do I start. This straightener left me amazed. I use it to flatten my freeze hair and to curly them. The time I spend on both above things is lest them 15 mins. I love that the cable is longer which allows me to move freely around the bathroom and the colour of the straightener is very nice, it change the shade when moving it around.

This is great! And pretty!
Let me start out by saying I’m a hairstylist by trade so I’ve trade most brands on the market and this was really great. It has a good length cord, love that it has variable temperatures (really important guys, make sure you’re not drying your hair!) and it’s super pretty. I used this flat iron on freshly blow dried hair and was really surprised how long the style lasted for me. I have thick coarse hair and was pleasantly surprised at the lack of frizz even after wearing the style all day in the Qld humidity. The one off putting thing was the “new” smell but that I am sure will fade after time. I would certainly recommend this is a great iron and will enjoy continuing to use it myself.

Good Tool
This hair straightener is compact and heats up very quickly to use. The tongs are a bit smaller than other brands, so does take some time, but it does straighten. Leaves hair smooth.

Good product
When it's a Remington you know it's going to be good. A hair straightener is a must for me. This straightener didn't disappoint, my hair is straightforward nicely with this. Very impressive.

As a person who handles and deals with hair care products for a living, there is no big surprise or edgy performance. But, it is functional. However, with respect to the longevity, there are some concerns.

Yep they work and I own a few brands, some big names and really I can't tell the difference. It heats up and flattens the hair. Presto.
