Tefal Express Protect

Received the Steam Generator approximately seven days ago: Initial unpacking revealed a well-protected and well-presented product. A read through the manual and found it to be well presented and easily understandable, Set-up was easy ~ pretty much just fill the container and go. And Boy! Did it go! I find ironing somewhat therapeutic and I find myself almost in a mediative frame of mind. However, the steam generator almost ruined that ~ in a good way! In hand, the iron aspect of the device felt well-weighted and well balanced and the steam hose well positioned to not interfere with movement. And the steam produced was extraordinarily powerful, yet easily controllable. Release the button and it stops immediately, no annoying "run on". Things that were usually "challenging" to press (such as very heavyweight cotton duvet covers) were simply a breeze. On the whole, I rate this item very highly and recommend it totally.

Having used a steam generator in the past I’ll focus in what this one does better than others I’ve used. The water tank is large enough that you don’t need to refill it; I ironed two large laundry bags and still had half a tank left. The pressure of the steam is brilliant, literally one sweep over an item and the creases were gone. I love that it has eco and vertical steam options too so that if you’re ironing items with few creases or that iron easily, you’re using less power and steam. It’s also very quiet compared to a previous steam generator I’ve used. With the Tefal I don’t need to turn the volume up on the tv whilst ironing like I have in the past. Overall I have no issues with the iron or with recommending it to friends and family.

Absolutely love this Iron! This made ironing so much easier, creases were removed with very little effort and the power in the iron is very good. It is easy to use and perfect when you have a big pile of ironing to get through as it makes the job a lot easier and quicker. I would recommend this product to anyone who does a lot of ironing, you won’t be disappointed!

As someone who does several piles of ironing a day I was excited to try the Tefal Express Protect. Whilst the instructions could have been a little clearer, after I worked out how to use it I must say I was impressed. Its a very powerful piece of kit and actually found ironing an awful lot quicker, taking creases from shirts very quickly. I also used it to steam the curtains which it done effortlessly. Its definetly reduced my ironing time which has got to be good, plus it really makes ironing less of a chore and more of a pleasure.

What another great product by tefal once again this tefal express protect is a really great iron and great to iron with it just glides though your cloths perfect

These our absolutely amazing irons the water capacity is really good and steam works really well to get creses from clothing 100% every single use never a problem

I use this item in my sewing class. My sewing teacher bought it and we are all very pleased to use it. Its light, easy to use and does a very good job especially on our sewing pieces.

Having used this for several weeks now I can only say how impressed I am with this iron. I was sceptical but it has seriously reduced the ironing time significantly and the ironing looks perfect. The steam is powerful yet will easily cope with all the various types of fabric I've thrown at it without the need to change fabric temperature settings between items which is a brilliant feature. No messy spits from the iron on my white shirts either despite being in a hard water area. Love it!

Very pleased with this iron. It looks big and bulky but you don't even notice it when you're ironing. I have a big family so always lots of ironing, with Tefal Express Protect is cut ironing time massively. And the added bonus that it automatically adjusts the heat depending on the material your ironing. What an amazing piece of kit and it really does the job!

This iron is definitely a step up from my previous steam iron, with the iron itself being a lot smaller. It’s so easy to iron shirts in between the buttons and covers all points of material. The iron is so light it made the job so easy. The non-drip feature is a huge benefit, I was sick of my garments being soaked by my previous iron. I love that you can steam iron vertically, my pleated dresses will look much better. This iron is definitely one that I would recommend, really easy to set up and instructions simple to understand.

This product is absolutely amazing. For years I have made do with cheaper irons because I always thought that there can't be that much difference.... it's an iron after all. How wrong was I! Got through loads of clothes in less than half the time. Glides effortlessly with no dripping

A bit bigger than expected but definitely worth it. Bought it after seeing many great review. Mum of 4 so got loads of iron everyweek. It's a bit pricey but its fine as you save on time and electricity. Great adjustable steam and easy iron.. big water tank is bonus.. would recommend this

Best iron I've had! It's so easy to use with steaming and isn't as loud as my old one. It's easy to keep clean to. Not that heavy either. It's well worth the money. If you have to iron everyday
