Philips Prestige Hair Straightener BHS830/03

I have been using hair straighteners for many years now, and have tried a lot of different ones. The packaging for the Phillips Prestige is beautiful. It feels and looks very luxe. I love treat they included a gadget to keep the tongs closed when not in use, and a heatproof bag to store it in. Very handy. The build quality looks good as well. The temperature controls are on the side and using them is a breeze. However I had to change the way I usually hold my straightener because I kept pushing them while I used it. When I first turned it on, I was taken aback by the sound the hair straightener makes. It’s very distracting and quite alarming. I’ve used this straightener 3 times now, and each time I get surprised by the sound. I have very frizzy hair so I need a very powerful straightener. I didn’t feel like it left my hair any less frizzy than other straighteners. In fact, I felt like it took a bit longer to straighten my hair. It’s very good with making curls. They last long

I like the feel and weight of the straightener. Nice and easy to hold and use. The straightener heats up fast. I didn't have to wait long before using it. The plates are quite smooth and my hair doesn't get stuck unlike some of the others I've used before. It comes with a heat protection pouch which is a good way to store the appliance. The width is just nice as well for curling the hair, not limiting it to just being a hair straightener.

Philips hair straightener heats up at a fast rate. Hair is not dry after straightening. Hair feels moisturised and is not frizzy after straightening. Easy to use functions.

I do really like the adjustable temperature and also the ionizer. I used the straightener to curl and straighten my hair, and it didn't make my hair feel dry.

Love that it came with such a pretty heat resistant bag! So we could keep it immediately after using. The preset functions were easy to use. Felt that the straightener was effective but gentle to the hair. Doesn’t damage it. My hair is only a little curly so it took one pull to straighten it. I then went to curl it. Also with just one pull. After which I tried straightening it again and it’s straighten after two pulls. All done without water. Love the straightener!

Its awesome I have a super thick and curly hair . and philips prestige hair straightener bhs830/03 just makes it easier for me without much hassle. It glided smoothly and most importantly it is fast. I got a super straight hair within minutes

Tried on the hair straightener and all it takes is 1 glide through the hair and that's all. Saves time and energy! Item is beautifully designed and looks kinda posh! The heat cap that comes with it is super handy as I can readily put it back on after using the straightener.

The straightener is simple to use. The colour is very pretty. The product is lightweight, and it comes with various temperature setting to cater to the different needs. The straightener also comes with a cap and case which makes it so much easier to carry around. Overall I'm satisfied with the product and will recommend it to my family and friends

SenseIQ function on the hair straightener is perfect as it adjusts for all types of hair. It won't cause that burnt smell or overheating to occur as with ordinary hair straighteners. I used the highest setting as I have textured, thick but slightly wavy hair which is harder to straighten out and takes a longer time. The time was reduced significantly with SenseIQ. I like that it does not make the hair look unnaturally straight but still able to provide the glossiness needed.

I love how the straightener looks. It is aesthetically pleasing with the white and rose gold combo. I love that they have provided a travel pouch which makes it more portable. The straightener is a little heavy but this also means that it has a very sturdy built that gives me confidence that it will last a long time. Setting it up is easy. Just plug and play. Heat up time is very very fast. Extremely impressed with it. I was able to straighten my hair at a snap of finger without waiting for long. Not sure if it is the SenseIQ technology, but my hair looks very healthy and is very shiny after using it. The only downside is the that buttons are not very ergonomically placed. I have the tendency to accidentally press the buttons while straightening. This is purely personal preference, but I have extremely thick and coarse hair, so I wished the heating plate can be larger.

Very easy to use. One application can really see the result. Hair feel smoother, wont feel any dryness at the end of the hair. Im so glad that this product have a to cater for people like me, wavy, soft n thin hair. I feel so confident also to use it to my 3years old daughter.

Great product of philips which never fails my expectations. It has 3 modes of heat to choose from; gentle, normal and fast. The gentle heat itself is good enough to straighten hair without damaging it. However, if you’re in a hurry, go for the fast option. It straightens well on a high heat. Works really well on curly hair. The ionic itself makes hair very shiny without any frizz. It also comes with a cover to protect the plates. Helpful if you forgot to keep it away from your child if she/he accidentally touches, it will not scald them. Also comes with a heat resistance pouch to store your straightener after use. Great product and will definitely continue to use it.

Straightener is light and design look luxury. It’s comes with a pouch also easy for us to carry around. I have tested the product different from other it’s look more shiny because with 4x ions infused. I’m happy I can use its every as the straightener make my hair look shiny and protect from overheat temperature with senseIQ technology.
