Oral-B Aquacare 4 Irrigator

I was very excited to try this product as I have not used an irrigator before. Flossing is something I do not do often enough and not something I enjoy doing, so I thought this would be a perfect solution. Unfortunately, I was a little let down. It did not irritate my gums which can be sensitive which was a positive, but I found it was not completely effective at removing everything, and I still needed to follow up with manual flossing which seems to defeat the purpose of even having an irrigator in the first place. I wouldn't personally recommend or purchase myself.

At first I wasn't sure whether it would be useful. I had my husband use it as he has very sensitive teeth because of chemo treatment. He was a bit hesitant but once he tried it he was very impressed except that it is very messy. He said his teeth felt cleaner after using it.

I'm using water floss for more than 5 years and I love it. Oral-B irrigator does its job but I think the water floss is not intense enough for me. The water sprays everywhere during use. Unfortunately, I can't feel the water cleans between teeth and this is my primary goal. Nevertheless, this product is ideal when you just start to use an irrigator as it is gentle and has a sensitive mode. It will also be ideal for kids. I think Oral-B 4 will be great when traveling due to its size. I like the design and that it's cordless, it's definitely more comfortable to operate. However, I found that it's not easy to press buttons and it takes some time to get used to it. Overall, I had a positive experience and I will continue to use Oral-B Aquacare 4 Irrigator in the future.

It is a cordless version so very convenient to use everywhere. This is an alternative to or an additional product that can be used to help with inter dental cleaning. The stream of water is often softer, less abrasive and a generally more enjoyable method of flossing for many.

The product is fairly easy to use and is quite gentle on both settings as long as the water is at least lukewarm. I used it with cold water once and it was very unpleasant. The product Looks quite stylish and is comfortable to grip and use. The instructions were easy to follow. I prefer the focused jet stream but find both settings clean my teeth better than just using my electric toothbrush. I find there are still tiny particles that are washed out even after brushing. I’m not sure it is as effective as flossing to remove food stuck between teeth but it’s much more gentle. Flossing often causes my gums to bleed but this product doesn’t. The pressure is gentle enough not to irritate my gums but effective in leaving my teeth and gums feeling very clean. Would recommend it, especially for those with sensitive gums.

Coming from using a water pik this is a much better improvement. I felt like the oral b sensitive feature was really gentle to my gums and didnt cause any bleeding when I used it at all. The nozzle itself is really well designed , not too big or small just right and with the size of the overall itrigator I could control movements easy. Didn't have too much weight as well so was easy and gentle to use on my sensitive teeth and gyms. I'm currently on invisalign and this is a great addition to my general routine!

i think it works pretty well but it is pretty messy - my tip would be to use it in the shower.

I have never used an irrigator before but had been curious for a while because flossing, while important, can be tedious and a bother. I was impressed that I could clean out between my teeth quickly with the water irrigator. It is definitely something I'll keep up as a part of my dental routine.

I was a bit sceptical of this product, as I didn't think it would work as well as standard dental floss. My teeth are very sensitive and the thought of inserting water into my sensitive areas just made me cringe. This product is really simple to assemble and use. The instructions showed a different image than the product received though but I found the general operating instructions easy to understand. i have to admit that the first time I used it I didn't think much of it at all. The positive side was how clean it left my mouth feel. After using now every morning and every night, it is gentle and effective. The water well seems to run out very quickly though and needs to be topped up during a clean. if the stream of water was just that little bit thinner, it would last longer. I find it makes a mess if you leave your mouth open to 'water floss' ... This is my only criticism. This is now a permanent addition to my dental care now.

Very quick and simple to use. Takes a few tries to learn how to use it mess free. Makes your entire gum line feel clean although does not always work at getting stuck food from between teeth. Love it for being able to floss difficult to reach teeth particularly those with a dental wire. It does need to be filled up with water an average of 3 times but understand that it would be heavy and difficult to hold if the water tank was bigger. Overall, would recommend.

My first impression was this is a huge unit, how does it work and will it work? Well, the first use was hilarious with water everywhere, but once I figured it out it was smooth sailing. Now I use it every day, and it actually works!!

Overall, Aquacare 4 does the job for quick floss jobs however I would still recommend manually flossing as the strength of the jets was not strong enough for a deep clean. The number of modes on the box was also misleading as there was only 2 modes and a manual/auto spray instead of the advertised 4 modes.

I had never used a "device like this, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but let me tell you...I love it! Easy to use, a couple of different settings and gets into the gum line to clear any "gunk" out. Sure beats using floss, especially if you have sensitive gums. I must remember to turn off before taking out of mouth to avoid water going all over me, lol...told you I was a novice. My only criticism (if I really looked for one) would be that it does not come with a carry case or pouch for when you are travelling. Would absolutely recommend!
