K9 Advantix II Flea and Tick Treatment for Large Dogs

My dog suffered greatly and still does from the application of this product. He developed neurological issues that have been on going for 3 years. Costly MRI, medications, specialist appointments, and many sleepless nights. He now needs meds every few hours to control his symptoms of body muscle jerks. 3 different meds 6x a day. A holistic vet we consulted with said he sees this frequently. A dedicated neurologist took the time to come up with an almost perfect drug cocktail which alleviates most of my dog’s symptoms. Thank God for him! We now use natural products like essential oil sprays and diatomaceous earth to deter fleas and ticks, as well as regular heart worm testing. A home cooked Keto diet helps control his symptoms, but is also very expensive and time consuming. Unfortunately physical activity seems to make his symptoms worse so we have cut our hour long walks down to 10 minutes. Just a complete disaster!

We have used this on our dog for the past few years and have loved it. We have noticed that the amount of mosquitoes drops when we apply this to him. As well we have yet to find a tick or other pest on him. So this is either just dumb luck, which is highly unlikely in our area, or this product works!

We have bought K9 Advantage product from our Vet clinic for years. The manufacturer have improved it to kill mosquitos as well.! easy to apply. Amble very effective Would recommend this product. With the warmer winters we need to protect our pets.

I have a shorthaired pitbull and when my husband and I used this product it didn't work at all unfortunately. Some people I've heard has a good response but both my dogs it didn't work very good with at all.

I have a large dog and usually during flea and tick season I'll use the chewable the vet recommends, but that is like $60 for one pill which is for ONE MONTH. My dog had a worm and I had taken him to the vet and asked about it, just because I thought his preventative also included something for worms, but it's literally just for fleas and ticks...so I wondered why I was paying so much when I could get this product at amazon for a fraction of the price. I use this one during the less peak seasons just in case the vet version is better.

I have used this product for a few years now, it works well for my dogs. I like not having it combined with heartworm medication, so that I can start flea and tick protection early. I have found the odd tick on them even with this on, which is why it’s 4/5 stars for me. But I will continue to use it.

This is my favorite product to use for flea and tick prevention for my dogs. The price is quite high which is a downfall especially because I have four dogs. But I love that it does not leave a greasy residue on fur.
