The Metal Series Foil Shaver by Conair

I was hesitapnt into foil shavers before, but it changed my mind and I totally love it so much. I don't know why I went with the regular electric and manual shavers out there.

The cordless Conair Metal Series Foil Shaver comes in a beautiful mirror like finish metal housing, which gives a sense of an expensive product. After following the instructions and trying it out, it works amazing and so smooth... It uses two AA batteries which are supposed to last for up to 8hrs. I wish it had a lithium ion rechargeable battery instead, but maybe for the next generation would have that. Overall an excellent product worth buying at a very reasonable price with excellent results and a two year warranty!

Very well built product. Metal construction feels substantial in your hand but not too big. Works well as daily maintenance to keep hair short. Has trouble with longer hair. Over-all very good.

The metal series foil shaver looked sleek. The one thing that bothered me with the metal finish was the fact that it was a fingerprint-magnet. It provided a nice, clean shave. I also liked that the shaver was wide enough to cover a large area. The shaver required 2 AA batteries which makes it a bit inconvenient as the batteries had to be changed once the power was drained after a few days of use. I would probably get a rechargeable version next time. Cleaning the shaver was also fairly easy. Overall, it was a good product.

This is a compact & powerful Foil Shaver. If you travel a lot, this is a must have and you only need a pair of AA battery.

Overall the shaver looks and feels great, looks well made and feels solid. As an actual shaver though? It didn't seem to do much, the hair you want to shave has to be so short already if you want a close shave, so short that you may have not even been considering shaving. It doesn't seem to irritate the skin though, unless you use go over the skin again and again, which you will need to of course, to get a decently close shave. This might be better for barbers, unless you like electric shavers and contorting our face and pulling your skin every which way to get all the hair.

Absolutely LOVE the look and feel of this shaver! Solid weight, and feels like a pro line product. In terms of use, it works really well for maintenance, but shaving multiple days growth was a challenge with many missed hairs. I liked the product, but was really surprised that it uses aa batteries as opposed to rechargeable which seems to be the standard these days...now sure how long the batteries will last but have used for several days without an issue at this point, would be a great travel standby and like I said, works well for daily maintenance. Absolutely gorgeous.

When I received the Metal Series Foil Shaver, I feel this is a high quality shaver and looks elegant. It is small compact made well and is heavy. This shaver looks expensive with my first sight. You can clean it easily after used. The thing that I don’t like is the speed control. It cannot control the speed of the motor , but it still did a good job of shaving and it is easy to carry when you travel. Not convenient to use batteries if it run out, need to improve to USB charger like cell phone. Also need to improve and reduce the motor sound.

The shaver is good but is not for everyone though. It is good for cleaning up and making your face look clean in a hurry. It wouldn’t cut thicker trims but good for thin trims. I intentionally used it to shave my face, which hadn't been shaven for 4-5 days. It didn't do a great job of keeping my face clean shaven. I had to go over the same areas multiple times, and it caused my skin to be irritated. I still had to use a razor to make the face clean shaven. The shaver itself is very loud/noisy and the placement of the power switch is annoying. The outer surface is shiny metal and has gold foils on the inside. The interior is plastic. You can even pop it out for cleaning. You cannot control the speed of the motor, which is not convenient. The shaver runs on 2x AA battery. This is a good shaver for finishing up what your main shaver left off. Also good for on the go shaving.

I've been using my Metal Series Foil Shaver by Conair for about a week now. I like that it only takes a couple minutes in the morning to keep my beard and mustache shaved. This product does not give you a smooth skin shave, if you want a smooth skin shave keep using your razor to shave. Electric shavers are intended to maintain a light stubble. Instead of spending a half hour or more shaving everyday with a razor, you can go over your whole face in about 2 minutes a day to maintain a fairly close shave with an electric shaver. Secondly I like the look and design of the Metal Series Foil Shaver, with its sleek silver colored exterior it resembles a large zippo lighter when the cap is on the shaver. The only thing that I don't like about Conair's Foil shaver is that it takes disposable batteries, I wish it had a rechargeable battery pack that you could just plug in to charge. Overall it is a good product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for this type of electric shaver.

Heavy weight metal, works with batteries. Good grip. Works smoothly.

I tried the shaver with a two day beard. Although it didn't pull the hair as other electric shavers do , I found it was spotty when I was shaving and I had to use a blade to finish shaving. It was however comfortable to use and did look quite stylish.

The Conair Metal Series Foil Shaver is the perfect travel companion. Inside the oversized box, a relatively small well built, weighty device is neatly packaged. The metal housing gives it a luxurious feel but show fingerprints. It uses two AA batteries; unfortunately, it did not come with. I have tested this shaver and I can confidently say that it cuts surprisingly well. Because of the compact size, this small shaver will be coming along with me on short overnight business trips.
