These were pretty average, but o did enjoy the colors. The flavor was a bit sugary for me and a hit with the kids. I would definately purchase these for decorating. Quick efficient and useful

Gel Pens
The tubes were smaller than I thought they would be, and harder to use. After shaking them I tested out on two waffles to see what I could come up with. I find the gel to be very hard to work with on delicate stencil work. The icing came out very uneven and ended up with a lot of blobs.

It’s easy to use and great if you need to write words because of the tip but I really didn’t care for the gel texture and as a neurodivergent person I was unable to eat them due to the texture alone.

Cookie time
I am not sure about this product. It came out clear then lots of colour the first time I used it. The second colour I mixed up the tube more. It was better. For fine writing and lines it would be good once you had the right consistency coming out.

Dainty hands!!
One thing i really liked about using this icing gel pens is the control. it gives you over over deposition of icing slowly and exact which is needed when you have to be precise so i loved this product fr that reason . Plain and simple

No control
I tried to apply this product slowly to get a fine line. First it came out clear and watery so I shook and squeezed the tube well. When I tried again it was still clear at first then the color came out a little thick. It would sometimes come out in a big gush. It was frustrating to not get a nice line or add detail with more control. The colors did not show up very well either except white was pretty good.

Writing on Cookies!
This product was received right by the holidays, so I could test them out on our Christmas cookies. I find that the gel pens are too runny, and don't dry quickly. It was messy, but truth be told, it is a lot better than pipping with children. It is contained in a tube, so easier to hold.

If you are a baker and decorate your cookies or cakes with writing or smaller detail these pens are a must. Writes just like a pen and colours in your smaller areas like a crayon. These would be great to get the kids involved in decorating their own masterpieces.

Makes Decorating Easy
I enjoyed using these decorating products. I found the icing colours covered well and they were a nice opaque finish. The candy sprinkles were fun and I loved the colour assortment. I had much better results with these decorating products than with my home made icings and food colouring. I would buy these because it made decorating so much easier.

Icing gel pens - HARD PASS
We received these gel pens as a sample from hometestersclub. From the get go the experience with using them was horrible and messy. When we first opened the pen it was watery/runny. No where on the box gave any prep instructions so we tried kneading and shaking the pens. It helped a little but the consistency of the gel was not great even after our attempts to make it useable. Both Kids and adults didn’t have luck getting the gel to come Out of the tube smoothly enough to make any sort of design. This coming from an experienced adult that makes cookies with designs with ease.
