LEGO UNICORN DJ

My children were very excited to try this out and were eager to open the box. It was easy to download the app although did take longer than usual and uses a lot of storage. The children enjoyed building their Unicorn DJ beat box and loved how it was projected. They enjoyed creating and sharing the music videos. They played with it for about an hour and then my older daughter 12 said it was boring and she hasn’t picked it up since. My 8 year old still Plays with it now.

My daughter really joyed playing with her unicorn DJ Beatbox and so did I. It has easy to follow instructions and the app is child friendly too.

Immediately my daughter was excited to try this out as she is a big fan of both Lego and Unicorns. It was very easy to put together and didnt take long at all. She loves that she can create and be apart of making music videos. The app is also pretty easy to use. I will definitely be buy the rest of the range.

My daughter loved this. Cute packaging. Easy to assemble. Loads of possibilities. Great fun to play with. Kept my daughter entertained for hours. Love that you can make videos. It’s like a fun music video. Highly recommend this product and can’t wait to buy more different figures in the future.

I have always been sceptical of these small kits as I am used to large Lego sets with a lot of 'building' rather than these digital app-based kits as I felt the fun when I was younger was in the build and there wouldn't be much play to enjoy here. I must admit I have been proven wrong with this. While there isn't much of a traditional 'build' with this kit, the app gives hours of fun for creating music videos with the character, and allows for a lot of customisation with the different panels etc to keep coming back and creating more. This kit really allows kids to be creative and gives them videos they can share with friends etc. I would definitely recommend this kit for kids who are creative and enjoy digital music/video, even if us oldies prefer more of a 'building' kit.

It kept my child entertained for a while, they love building lego. After they'd built it, it did get left in the corner.

Fun and a really clever idea. The nice thing about it is once you may get tired of the augmented reality bit, you still have a lovely, fun, camp lego character and pieces to mix in with your other stuff for adventures. Really nice.

My girls enjoyed putting all the Lego pieces together then making music videos afterwards using the different music tabs. This gave my girls something to keep them occupied together and allowed them to have fun together. It was a bit difficult at first to start the Music videos, but once I got the hang of it, it was really easy and gave us something fun to play with. You can arrange the Lego in different ways, and different tabs makes it different each time.

A lot of fun to play with, creating music videos using lego characters is a great idea, possible improvement would be to allow users to scan in lego characters from other sets, such as harry potter etc as this would provide even more entertainment, the time for the refresh of the free actions in the app could also do with tweaking by shorting it, as this is aimed at kids and you want them to stay engaged and entertained with this for as long as possible. fun selection of music to choose from

Overall this is a great toy, I had a lot of fun and felt like a child again. The toy itself is fun to build, very colourful and a lovely size. It’s very imaginative how it’s been styled, I can see children having fun for hours with this, the app is easy to use and follow and love the fact it tells you to be careful where you film and to stay safe.

The instructions are a bit vague, at first when we trying to set the scene and it kept saying try again as it wouldn't start, but it didn't say why, but after a few tantrums from the kids we worked it out, then there was no stopping us, kept the kids amused for hours trying out different routines, would definitely recommend for all age groups,

It is a fun and entertaining toy and app for children (although my husband did enjoy it too). The assembly of the product was very straight forward, although when placing the beatbits you need to make sure they are the correct way up otherwise they won’t scan. The app is quite easy to navigate although creating an account and signing in was a bit difficult as I had to come right out the app and go back in again to successfully sign in. The videos that you can create are quite cool, for example you can have the unicorn playing bagpipes to a Taylor Swift song. The music in the app is really good aswell, there’s a varied choice e.g MC Hammer. One thing that I would’ve preferred is to be able to save the video to your phone. It only allows you to share to Lego social media so my niece couldn’t save it & send to her gran. I think it’s priced just right at £18 as you can get quite a lot out of it, my niece has been playing around with it for the past few days and is very excited to have it.

It is a very new product, full of features to discover. My children were so excited when they saw it, they opened it and wanted me to download it straight away the app to use it immediately. Lots of fun and music, very entertained item.

Excellent product, kept my 9 year old daughter entertained for ages. One thing I will say is the app was a bit glitchy but I’m sure it will soon be resolved.
