NEUTROGENA® Makeup Remover Balm

It was weird getting used to the texture of the ball but it was moisturizing

The balm itself is fantastic! However, when I first began using the product, I had a hard time gauging how much product I needed to achieve the removal of my makeup. My skin felt incredibly soft after every use, and my skin purged very slightly using the new product, but I expected a worse reaction considering the fact that it was a melt product. My biggest con is that it’s not travel friendly. Otherwise the concept is great!

This product is a unique concept. It looks like a hair wax but melts upon touching it and when it hits your makeup so that you can easily wipe it off, giving you a clean, makeup free face. I still had difficulty removing my waterproof mascara with this product and while it did take a lot of it off, I had to reapply additional balm and let it sit in order to get remaining mascara off. As someone with oily skin, this product works great in dryer temperatures when I need extra moisturizing because it does leave my skin a bit greasy. I do prefer a foaming cleanser for my skin but when I am wear heavier makeup, this product is ideal and is gentle on my skin. I still prefer to use a product specifically for removing waterproof eye makeup so I will still continue to use that product along with the Neutrogenea Makeup Remover Balm and my foaming cleanser. It's a great product for those who like to use a cream wipe-off cleanser and is actually more effective and gentler on your skin.

Although the makeup remover balm was easy to apply, it left my face too oily. I have combination skin and thought this would be an easy way to remove makeup. However I found even after washing with a cleanser after the use of this product, my face still retained too much oil from the product.

Liked that the product has no fragrance. I'm not a fan of the oily feeling, but the product worked. I used it at night and stuck with my normal morning skin routine. Despite it being oily, it didn't affect my overall skin tone.

I love this product. It's very gentle to the skin and works great!

This was my first time using balm as a makeup remover. The Neutrogena Makeup Remover Balm was very easy to use and left my skin feeling so soft and nourishing afterwards! It removed even the most stubborn eye makeup. While it is not as easy as using a wipe, I definitely felt that it was healthier for my skin, like putting a nourishing cream on. I would definitely continue using it!

The Neutrogena Makeup Remover Balm did a good job at removing my makeup, but for me I prefer a makeup wipe. It is a lot more convenient and easier to use.

This product isn’t the worst but not the best there is. Didn’t remove my makeup but got most of it. Nice scent, not overwhelming. Leaves a greasy feeling in the face. Would not recommend, there’s much better options

I stopped using cleansing wipes because they're wasteful and, honestly, I didn't find they really got my makeup off. I was watching Hyram on YouTube and saw him talking about this affordable makeup-removing balm that's safe for the environment (it doesn't have the ingredient that can get into water supplies and become toxic). That's amazing and everything, but let's be honest: I'm here for the only removing balm that doesn't totally strip my skin while getting my makeup off. This is affordable and the absolute best and cleaning, yet not stripping my skin~

I love this product to remove your make up at the end of the day. It melts in your hand and you rub it on your face. I thought it would leave my face oily after using it but my face was nice and smooth after using it. No greasy feeling at all

I’m disappointed with this makeup remover, it left my face feeling greasy. I didn’t care for the scent. I just put it into the trash this wasn’t the product that I thought it would be.
