Tastes like home.
The traditional gravy tin is a staple in every Aussie home. The traditional rich flavour reminds me of simple but delicious dinners when I was a child. It’s takes me back to nights on the beach with chips and gravy or a hearty pie with mash smothered in gravy on a cosy night at home.

Not great
I haven't purchase Gravox in years and this traditional gravy mix tin made me remember why. I followed the instructions on the side of the tin and felt like it made so little and was too runny for my liking. I kept adding powder until it was at a consistency I wanted. I was disappointed in the flavour. It lacked strength and depth that a good gravy should have. It was quite flavourless for me. I used this gravy on bangers and mash, with peas and it was not great. I think I'll stick to the powdered gravy I already buy or get the Gravox liquid gravy pouch which was really yummy.

Big hit at Xmas dinner
I was initially a little skeptical about the taste as it was in powder form but I was wrong! Tastes just like the pouch form, smooth, but easy to control the portions. The family dug into the roast beef with the gravy before I could take a photo. Definitely recommended it to family and friends.

Easy peasy gravy

Easy to use and great tasting
I loved the taste and the smoothness of the gravy ,I also loved the fact that Traditional gravy is so easy to make,I have fussy children but they loved the taste of this grove on their chips and roast chicken.

Quick and easy
Quick and easy to use. I like that I can choose how thick or thin the gravy will turn out. The flavour is okay. Not as good as homemade but if you are in a rush it’s good to have it in the pantry.

Not with chips
I love chips and gravy, so I made up some gravox traditional for my chips. I followed the instructions which were super easy but the gravy was watery and had little flavour. I would not recommend with chips or potato but may work well as a pie gravy when other flavours are mixed in. the gravox pouch seemed to have a better texture and richness, I would recommend the pouch over the tin

Traditional gravox
Loved the flavour of this gravy, it went great with slow cooked chops & veg. It is a lovely rich gravy however making it according to the instructions given it was far too watery. I had to add an extra 2-3 tablespoons to make it thick.

Riding the gravy train
Easy to use and handy to keep in the cupboard when you want to make gravy in a hurry. To enhance the taste I added the left over pan juices from the chicken I roasted. If you want some added richness or creaminess whisk in a few cubes of butter.

Decent gravy
I quite liked this gravy. It was easy to prepare, tasty and really easy to get the perfect consistency. I tried it with beef and chicken and it was nice with both. A tad salty but other than that loved it!
