LEGO® Super Mario Adventures with Luigi Starter Course

This Lego set was unlike any other! It was interactive, super fun and also educational. My children enjoyed the easy to follow step-by-step guide via the Super Mario app. The Bluetooth and interactive game features are brilliant. My children loved it so much, they haven’t stopped playing with it.

These Mario Lego sets DO NOT come with a paper instruction manual for building these!! You have to download an app in order to get the instructions to build them!! This is SO FRUSTRATING!! The whole point of Lego is for my kids is to get them OFF of their electronic devices.... It Took a while to understand how to use the app and the get the instructions on how to build but once we did the kids loved playing this this it’s interactive. With use of Bluetooth and a iPad. Super Mario plays music and sounds, his eyes move and he has brick and colour recognition the app tells you how to build the course as you follow the instructions it’s comes with characters and you can build lots of courses so they never get bored. Chips on the board make it interactive

This Lego set has a lot of essential information on the box but is not really clear until you open it and find the book which directs you to download an app that has the build instructions. After 15 minutes of downloading app and updating Luigi, we searched around the app to finally find the instructions. The online instructions are easy to follow and the interactive features are helpful but it seems like a slower way of building because you can’t skip ahead to prepare pieces. Mr 5 liked building this set, especially when Luigi was interacting with the pieces. He is familiar with the theme and was excited to see the characters. I would recommend this set to someone who also has the Mario starter set and expansion sets. As a stand-alone set, there is not much game play after the build is finished kind of like having a quarter of a board game set up. The app looks like it has more features through the Bluetooth connectivity to the Luigi figure but the app was difficult to navigate.

Loved how interactive this lego is. A little bit testing and intrusive to set up the app, but when we got there the whole experience of building and it being interactive had Mr 10, Mr 7 and Mr 3 excited about the build and doing it together.

The in-app instructions are fun and easy to follow, with short clips on how the parts move. Our kids play Mario on the Wii, so they really enjoyed trying to beat each other's high scores. We loved how the Logo characters looked exactly like they look in the game and how you can create your own layout. We are definitely going to get more sets to play. This is something the who family can enjoy

My son absolutely love Lego Super Mario, to the point we collect the range now. He loves the fact that it's interactable, but yet he can still play with with it .

Brought this for my 9 year old nephew and it was such a hit. He's building the full collection now.

Both my grandsons aged 5 & 8 have Luigi & Mario starters & have so much fun with them.

My kids who loves super mario, loved these leho. It’s good for them to develop their cognitive skills and construction skills. I am very happy with purchase.

My boy absolutely loves this starter pack, along with the mario one. He loves collecting all of the expansions and enjoys how interactive they are. I always find him going back to play with this one and am very happy with it.

Another Lego product that takes me back to my childhood. I had so much fun building this with my son. I was able to tel him all about playing games with Luigi in them as a kid.

We weren't sure about this because we thought it was a bit of a gimmick. Our son was gifted this for Christmas and boy were we wrong. This is so much fun for us all. We love that it's Mario but interactive and our son is not just staring at a tv screen. Well definitely be buying more. Such a great concept!!

My 8 year old loves Mario, and LOVES lego (its the only toy he plays with), so naturally desperately wanted this set. He received this and several extension sets off family for his birthday. Within only a few weeks the sets were missing small pieces, and he really wasn't interested. He preferred to use the characters and build them homes/cars etc, rather than play with the defined course.
