L’Oréal Paris Magic Retouch Permanent Root Touch Up Dye Kit 2 Soft Black

To be honest I wasn't expecting much, I have been pleasantly surprised with a product that was not only easy to understand, instruction wise, but also easy to apply with great results. No need to go to the salon anymore for a quick touch up!

Tip applicator for bigger area coverage and brush applicator for those tricky area around the forehead and ears. Easy to follow instructions

The application bottle was great. A perfect size and the applicator brush worked so well when applying the dye. It covered all of my greys and i'm happy with the end results.

The application process was very easy and mess-free. However, I don't agree that it has 100% grey coverage.

Provides good coverage of grey hair, but found the soft brush applicator difficult to use - better result using the bottle applicator. Would have liked a colour lock conditioner to be provided like the complete loreal hair colour packs as with even using my normal conditioner, felt my hair was dry afterwards. The colour did stain my skin a little more than other products, but it also covered the roots and grey well.

I liked how the brush would smother the die over the roots. I actually preferred it over the original hair colour. It covered the roots and there was no difference between the colour of the roots or the coloured hair. It also gave my hair a nice shinem

It covered my greys in areas where most other dyes don't and I am extremely happy that this worked. I will continue to be using such thing as it makes it all go away and I don't have to worry about them pesky greys showing. The days of growing old and being able to cover the greys is an absolute god send.

My hair colour times are getting shorter and shorter. Using the L’Oréal touch up made it easier with my busy lifestyle to just ‘touch up’ my greys! I liked using the applicator brush as it covered more area and I had finished in about 5 mins. I didn’t have to do my whole hair just the front. It covered up all my greys and I only had to wait 10mins before shampoo and conditioner.

I have tried so many retouch, grey root coverage brands and this would be the most effective and long lasting. With L’Oreal Retouch Permanent it is truly MAGIC. The mess - free applicator is so easy to use. 10 minute quick fix is all it is. Coverage is definitely 100%. I was provided with 2 Soft Black which match my hair. It’s Fast.Easy.Mess Free. This was so quick and easy. It wasn't messy at all. The package was well presented. You had the choice of using either the precision applicator or the soft brush applicator. I opted to use the soft brush applicator. The hair colour came out evenly and I was able to distribute the hair colour and brush it through my greys with ease and without any mess. The packaging comes with everything need to make it a great experience. Would I buy?? At the retail cost of around $15, I probably wouldn't as I can buy hair colour for half of that price.

The product was easy to use, the applicator was a nice touch. It didn't make the job any easier or harder, so not sure if it was needed. Touch up result was solid, perhaps a little darker than I would have gone for previously so would recommend choosing a slightly lighter shade. 100% recommended.

It was super easy to use with this applicator made it so easy and mess free. Results were quick and hair looks great. love the ease of using this product and the results are excellent.

My hair feels like it needs a colour every week, and this does the trick. I was so not going to believe it. I feel that in normal circumstances after a colour at home, I would see re-growth two weeks later. So I would have to plan my colours around events and whom might be in attendance. This is not that bad. it's handy and the little comb is cute and while not a great help initially, I worked out that it's great to use after applying for a more all over impact. Maybe I'm terrible at home colours, but this does improve the odds of me not looking like a clown.

I first reacted to the extra brush that's included as it is definitely something I've needed in hair dye kits to help with the application. I first used the bottle squirter and the mixture is a little too runny for my liking however it was just for roots so it didn't make too much of a mess. It did however run down to my forehead leaving a black stain which was easily washed off in the shower. I attempted to use the brush next and it was fantastic! It spread slowly and evenly and I could see it covered each hair very well. It didn't run down my forehead this time as it comes out at a nice pace. The coverage was great. I'm starting to grow more greys and this really did cover well and the colour wasn't too black. Alot of black dyes are too dark that it appears Goth and I have natural black asian hair which also grows slow if I've dyed my hair blonde!
