Testing dog food is difficult as you need to slowly introduce to your dog when you’re considering changing. I wasn’t considering changing so the change in diet for a short period of time caused my dog to have some bad farting when eating this.
I really like that the food is produced in regional Australia, as I buy Australian where possible, however I don’t know if they are Australian owned. I also don’t know if it’s made with Australian ingredients. The flavour was chicken with rice and ancient grain but the back of the packaging talked more about the added nutrients that were included, not the main ingredients of the food. The kibble itself is small, it would be good to have an actual size on the front. I have a large dog and I was concerned about him not chewing the pieces. I don’t care for the ‘recommended by this vet’ on the front. There are hundreds of vets in Australia that recommend different products. I don’t know her, she’s not my vet, why would I purchase because of this?

New kibble fan
My dog isn't always a fan of kibble but took to Optimum Pro for mobility health very well! Ate everything in his bowl each time.

Great budget friendly kibble
I’ve been giving my dog this kibble for the last 8 weeks. He is certainly enjoying it (he can be a bit fussy with kibble). I mix it with some cooked chicken. My dog is a cavoodle, 10yrs old. Certainly slowing down as he gets older but still healthy. He doesn’t have any joint issues so I can’t comment as to whether this area has improved but I feel that this is a good product to maintain his healthy joints which becomes so important as they age. I would definitely purchase this and give him ongoing.

Great product! Gizmo is a very happy dog
This is an excellent product. My Border Collie Gizmo really loves it - it seems to taste great to him. The actual kibble is a great shape and size. I can see the different in his mobility after feeding this to him daily... he is even more active than he was before. He even seems to run a little faster when chasing his ball and jump a little higher when catching his frisbee!
My dog is a picky eater and she enjoyed the food. She as able to have consistent solid droppings

Finally a brand my dog loves to eat
This is the first dry dog food that my dog has eaten. My dog normally just turns his nose up anything I put in his bowl.
The packaging is great and all the ingredients in the food.
My groodle loves this!
He usually has a sensitive stomach but took to it straight away with no issues.
I've had a look at cost as well and would definitely repurchase.
Would recommend to anyone looking for new dog food with minimal fuss!
Our dog has hip dysplasia so we look for food that is specifically formulated to support this . The Optimum PRO Mobility Health kibble was a great option as it contains ingredients that would help maintain his joints. Our dog enjoyed eating it as well!
My dog quite enjoyed this, she’s usually not that interested in dry dog food but ate the whole portion with no hesitation. She’s recently been diagnosed with arthritis so hopefully this helps her joints a little.
Out greyhound Yo-Yo recently tested the Optimum Pro Mobility Health kibble, and I noticed a change in her joint mobility and how quickly she could change direction when running. Greyhounds aren’t known for changing direction quickly, but she was more agile, and not as tired on the Optimum Pro. She also loved the taste, so a big tick from me!
My toy cavoodle is getting fussy to eat but had no issues with this for about a few then started to get bored of it. However I started to use it as hoppers and it’s better. Overall it’s a good product.
Looking at the ingredients, it certainly delivers everything my elderly dog requires for his declining mobility in his old age. There was no problem him switching from his usual brand, and I feel satisfied that I’m helping to manage his arthritis.
I used this product alongside my dogs Raw diet. My dog will eat anything and this was no exception.
I love that the product includes Green Lipped Mussel powder as this is an ingredient that is naturals but amazing for animal joints. Without feeding longterm it was hard to tell if there were any long term benefits however there was no short term downsides
