Remington HYDRAluxe™ Pro Straightener

Amazing product easy to use and feels gentle on the hair

This straightener looks beautiful. Remington have focused more on glamour with this model than the older model I have. As a straightener alone it does a great job and I love the variable temperature function. This model is also more lightweight than previous models making it a less tiring experience to straighten waist length hair. However, the hydro mist is problematic. Preparing for my first test the water barrel broke and was replaced. The second water barrel could not be filled as there was some kind of blockage at the entrance so even with the bulb syringe provided in the box I could not fill the tank and could not test this major feature of the product. Overall I am very happy with the end result and my hair looks great with minimal effort

Great for my hair, which is fine and occasionally frizzy. In comparison to my GHD it held up. I do normally use my straightener to generate curls, however due to the wider plates on this one, it was a touch more difficult. I love how soft and sleek it made my hair feel afterwards. I would recommend this product for those who would like minimal damage whilst straightening.

Heats up quickly and it can also be used as a curler. Sleek product and my straighten hair held up during the day. I think the price point is a little steep compared to what’s available on the market.

I am really impressed with the Remington HYDRAluxe Pro Straightener, I have quite thick hair and still it requires minimal effort to get my straight in only a few minutes and I really like how it lights up when it's on whereas my previous straightener, there was really no indication if it is on. I also like the temperature buttons, very easy to use and clear as to what temperature it is on, and the silicon cover is a great help as well, as it protects the straightener itself as well as my bathroom bench. Highly recommended.

I loved the look, ease of use and it looks expensive almost comparable to a GHD! Plus my hair felt healthy even though I'm using heat to style it.

Really enjoyed my experience with Remington Hydralux Pro Straightener. My hair is frizzy and I need to use straightener every time after I wash my hair as I like straight hair. With Remington I found that it’s so smooth on my hair, it does not dry it. I do really care about my hair as I have blond hair and it’s already dry for colouring it. Very happy with with product. Now it’s my favourite hair product.

I was sceptical about using a heating tool with water but I was pleasantly surprised. I used the straightener both with and without the added mist and I definitely noticed better results with the use of the mist. The straightener glided through my hair better and left is less frizzy and smooth. The only down fall is I found it not too good to curl with. I use my straightener to both straighten an curl but found when using it it didn’t produce nice curls and the shape of it made bumps in the hair. If you use a straightener to just straighten or don’t mind having multiple styling tools this would be a great buy

I really like this hair straightener. I have very thick slightly wavey hair that is cut into a bob. I gave up trying to straighten my hair with my previous tool because it seemed impossible to get it looking nice, however using this Remington surprisingly did wonders for my hair. I can go from my natural cute bob to a slightly longer dead straight hair style with minimal fuss and damage to my hair. The tool itself heats up VERY quickly, its a lovely design, it comes with a great silicon heat proof cover and is very easy to use. Really glad I got to try this out, I will be recommending this to family and friends.

Overall i am very impressed with this product although i do not like the water function. It leaves my hair feeling damp and its tricky to use as a curler because the tip needs to point a certain way at all times

From the stylish look right down to the simplicity of the instructions, everything with the Remington HYDRAluxe was fantastic. I was absolutely amazed at the difference that the steam function made and liked that I could choose to use or not use the steam function. The design of the straightener was easy to hold and slid through the hair effortlessly. I do worry about drying the steam compartment but otherwise was excellent.

This straightener was really easy to use. It straightened my hair nicely and my hair stayed straightened until I washed it. The steam that comes out is light and the water tank was just big enough to do the whole of my hair and I have a lot of thick hair!

The Remington hydraluxe leaves your hair feeling so smooth and soft instead of dried out and frizzled. After a week of use I actually feel like my hair looks healthier than it has in ages!

I currently have a GHD straightener and this Remington kicks my old straightners butt !!! It is super easy to use and I love that it has multiple temperature settings. I would highly recommend this product to anyone ! It turned my frizzy mess into a sleek and beautiful do ! I also LOVE love looovee the added mist feature. 10 out of 10 i would recommend this product to everyone!

I tested the Remington HYDRAluxe™ Pro Straightener & I have to admit it has definitely impressed me, The results I got from styling at 170c were amazing considering I usually style my hair at 185-210c. It left my hair feeling super smooth, soft and glossy and the results lasted all day, and were on par with the results I'd get from my almost double priced GHD. I was sceptical about how well it would tackle curls given the shape of the barrel but it created curls with ease too. I really also loved the fact it has a slight S shape so it means I can put the straightener down on my bench and not be worried of scorching, which is really thoughtful design. A couple of things that detracted slightly: The back of the plates get hot so you're recommended not to touch them, it can make it a little tricky to handle. Filling the water tank was a little finicky but you don't have to do it often which is good. I do also wish it was a tiny bit smaller as prolonged use tired my arms out.
