Russell Hobbs Freedom Cordless Iron

I received the Russel Hobbs Freedom Cordless Iron today, and I couldn't wait to try. The box and packege looks amazing and the Iron too. The colours are stunning and so trendy . The Iron coming with normal written instruction and easy pictures one too if you not too keen to read through. Plugged in and not even 30 sec the Iron was ready to use. I find jeans hard to Iron, so I tried on hubbies jeans. The steam was powerful and the Iron gliding easily, thanks for the ceramic plate. When the temperature drops, the base will beep and flash red, reminds to time for a reheat. It takes only a few seconds, and it's just the time to rearrange your garment to continue. When it's green again, good to go. The other thing suprised me is the weight. It's much lighter than my previous one, and when I measured, it's only 1050gr which I think its important. Not just that, but the fact that not need to wrestle with tangling cord make this iron an absolute winner for me.

I was so happy to test out this cordless iron gifted to me from Russell Hobbs and Home tester club. Upon opening I was impressed with the colours as well as the sleek aesthetic. After a quick read through the instructions it was testing time! Pros: Fast charging time - 5 seconds Handy green indicator light which beeps when it needs to be charged Non stick easy glide copper sole plate Easy change dial for heat settings Shot of steam and spray function No cumbersome cord! Cons: A little awkward to place on the base - takes some getting used to Hard to see the water level with smoked plastic Overall this is 100% better than my home brand iron and other branded cordless iron. Great for quick ironing jobs! Would definitely recommend

Loved the cordless Iron very easy to maneuver with it. It's produces steam in less than 30 secs and pretty good iron. Have performed beyond my expectations. Also have good safety features.Overall good product.

This is a really good standard iron. It took me a few tries to get used to, but once I did, I really appreciated the cordless aspect! It heats up relatively quickly and glides across surfaces well, removing wrinkles effortlessly. The only thing I had to get used to was putting it back on the charging base between every pass, otherwise you would contend with the warning beep. Recharge time was minor though and it didn’t take any longer to iron a load of washing.

This iron is very easy to use and it is cordless so we do not need to worry if the cord can be tripped over accidentally by baby or pet or etc.

I've always loved cordless irons and you can't beat a Russell Hobbs cordless. I had one many years ago and it lasted me years so it was time to get a new one.. one had no problems and it irons everything beautifully. This version is great as the base lights up red when the heat is getting low however it is still hot enough to iron..

My first impression was I love the sleek black and gold colour and its cordless.I gave one less star because it had on both sides of the iron it’s features I think it should have had fabric settings on one side as you have to read book to know that ,just think it would be handy for forgetful people.It glided over the different fabrics and was lightweight to use. The steam worked ok but not a huge shot of steam probably needed a reheat again overall it’s a really nice cordless iron and would recommend it

Works perfectly and so much easier to use without the cord in the way. It takes no time at all to heat up and ready to use.

This is the best iron out there on the market. Heats very quick and stays at that temperature. Irons clothes with ease and steam is great. Light weight and a great price

One of the best purchase I have ever made on investing on good brand iron , Russell Hobbs one of the best iron , I have used so far , it's easy to carry and adjustable for our convenient temperature.doesn't ruin the clothes at all.highly recommended iron.

I have always loved Russell Hobbs so I couldn't resist trying out this iron when we moved. It heats up super fast and presses super crisp. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because I find the iron a little too heavy for my liking. I am small so it's a bit of a weight. However, I think the weight is what makes the crease so perfect. I hope I can branch into a steam iron one day though...

Tried this cordless iron and found it to be no different than any other iron I've had. Admittedly it irons well, however, what brand new iron doesn't? Being cordless is great and a great gimmick. Although the charge is fast, you need to constantly put in down. Most important point to notice is the rechargeable battery. Now long will it last before it needs replacing. Does one need to buy a replacement battery just like a cordless drill when battery dies from too many charges? Does one need to buy a new iron? These are the questions that have me worried as I've now spent the money.

Additionally, it includes a useful feature in the form of a light that alerts me when the temperature is too low or if there isn't enough power, reminding me to turn it off. The light continues to shine when the power is on. Moreover, it emits an audible beep if the temperature drops too low while I am ironing. The problem being it happens too often so I'm having to place it back and wait multiple times when ironing more than 2-3 shirts.
