Tefal Express Easy Steam Generator Iron

I got the product and was eager to try it. Only issue the instructions were almost impossible to comprehend. It seems to show there is a calcium filter somewhere but I am yet to find it. Once I got it set up and started using it, it was a breeze and light to hold and had great steam. It takes a bit of getting used to, putting it on the tank intead of the ironing board when doing normal ironing. It was however pretty good for my suits. Happy to buy but needs some better diagrams and maybe some language to explain what goes on, in the instructions.

I love this and it made ironing so much more enjoyable and effortless. I had been looking at these for a while so this was a perfect time to trial this. So much easier than my normal iron.

Fantastic, loved the ease of use and great results, the steam option also a bonus to refresh clothes. After using my old one for many years I can see the difference by using the Tefal express so much quicker to iron with great results, ironing is more enjoyable now

I really loved being able to test his iron. I have not used one like this before so I appreciated this opportunity to see how irons like this work. Here are my pros and cons - Pros - Creates great steam and irons out creases with ease. Easy to use and has a good size water tank. The steam shot is very powerful without making a mark on clothes. Cons- the clip that the iron slots back into is not very user-friendly and quite annoying while the iron is in use. The cord for the appliance is much too short, as I found myself having to use an extension cord to reach the power point wear I normally iron. It also needs to have a clip for the cord when is wound up. The current design to store the cord is useless.

Lots of power and a super nice design. It heats up very quickly. The sole glides effortlessly over many types of fabric. When you switch from a high setting to a lower setting, the cooling is very fast. The amount of steam is also adjusted accordingly. The anti-drip system is intended to prevent limescale from entering the garment with the steam. However, when you iron on a high setting, water drops can suddenly come out of the iron. This has been the case with every iron, so unfortunately also with this one. The anti-scale filter works well and no scale comes out when the steam comes out. The large filling opening for filling the water reservoir is great. Also switches off automatically if you forget to switch off the iron, a nice extra safety system. The weight of the iron is a bit on the heavier side, but that's something you get used to quickly.

I would have to say out of every single iron I've ever purchased in my life this Tefal express easy iron would be absolutely one of the best I've ever tried not only does it cut down your ironing time but leaves the most impressive ironing on your clothing it is so simple to use and so easy to use you don't even have to add water into the iron the instrument that you have it adapted to takes the water it transfers the steam into the iron and makes for the job to be so much easier.

Compared to what I have done for decades, this steam iron is brilliant. So easy to setup, and definitely cuts ironing time by half. So easy to put trouser creases in, and take unsightly creases out. I will never look back!

They were not wrong. Everything Tefal claim about this Steam Generator Iron is 100% correct. I have never used this type of iron before, always just had a regular iron but there is no going back. This iron is amazing! I love the safety features - back clip so it can’t slide off the base and front lock to ensure it can’t accidentally burn anyone or anything. The huge water tank is enough to do a full load and the long cord means that it never gets in the way. Adjusting the temperature is quick and easy, the steam on and off trigger is in the perfect spot and easy to use. The iron glides effortlessly across the fabric and makes creases disappear on the first glide. I haven’t timed myself so I can’t say if it cut my ironing time by 30% but it certainly took me way less time than usual. Ironing school shirts and my daughter’s Martial Arts uniform are one of my most hated tasks of the week but this Steam Generating Iron made Ironing these items a breeze! I love it!!! Thank you!!!

Very easy to use. The steam is so powerful I use it for my delicate dress.

Love it! Bear in mind i have previously owned Tefal, Phillips and LauraStar steam generator irons that I am comparing this Tefal Express one to. it’s light wait and love that you can lock the iron in place and carry it that way. Easy to refill and clean. Holds so much water in the large tank. It has a gentle steam, but if you are using it for too long there will be water droplets on the garment. The pump is nice and quiet. Quick to warm up. The steam cord to the iron is a bit stiff but assume it will loosen up over time. Instructions included difficult to follow but there are plenty of videos on YouTube. Overall love it - more than the previous stem generator irons I have owned and used.

I am really impressed with the Tefal express iron. Super easy to fill, compact system and glides beautifully on my clothes. Makes my ironing jobs a pleasure

The Tefal Express Easy Steam Generator Iron is a great product. It smooths out creases and wrinkles with ease. Saves ironing time and so easy to use.

I love this iron as it is very easy and fast too use. The only disappointment is that the water compartment doesn’t come off but we've had previous irons which we have filled up with a jug. I love ironing now you can iron 5 or 6 jeans at once. Words I never thought I'd utter- ha ha!

It is very clunky, you could not iron for long as the iron is very heavy and awkward to hold as the cord is so thick and stiff. The steam Or lack of does nothing at all. I was expecting a lot more from this product. I would definitely never buy one as It does not perform as it is advertised. Very big waste of space.

Quickly and efficiently reduced my time ironing. This steam iron produced powerful steam performance and I loved the vertical function to help freshen garments and things like curtains with ease.
