Alba Botanical Very Emollient Cream Shave Mango Vanilla

I wish I could say I was happy with the Alba Botanica Very Emollient Shave Cream (Mango/Vanilla), but unfortunately I was not. I have used other Alba Botanica products before and was pleased with them, but sadly, this product in my opinion is a complete fail. It has a very pleasant fragrance that I liked, but I don't like how the product works. I felt the cream was too thick and it took alot more to shave my legs than I would have liked it to. With the price of the product and how much of the product it takes to shave your legs, it's not a good value for the money. The product doesn't go far at all, it doesn't last long. Another thing was it clogged up my razor while I was shaving my legs, which made it hard to get a clean, smooth shave, which I did NOT like. I felt like I needed a new razor every time I shaved, which I shouldn't have to do. I was not impressed with this product and I don't plan to use it again. I do not recommend this product.

Alba Botanica Very Emollient Cream Shave was so hydrating! I was sold at the soft Mango Vanilla scent. I was expecting the texture to be a little thicker, but it still provided a very close, comfortable, and hydrating shave experience. My skin was so soft and supple afterwards with no irritation. I’d recommend!

First of all, the smell is amazing! They really did a great job of creating a scent that lingers. It was really great shaving cream. It softened the hair on my legs and made the razor glide like a dream. Afterward, my skin was smooth and radiant!

This shaving cream was awesome. I love the light scent of mango and vanilla. The best part of the cream was it is plant based. This cream had my legs so soft and moisturized. It left my legs so silky looking. I would recommend this to all my friends,family and coworkers.

I didn’t really like the emollient shaving cream. Even when I did a thin layer per the directions, the cream clogged up my razor and was difficult to rinse off. Pros: The smell was nice and left my skin feeling smooth.

I received this product for free to test and review from Home Testers Club. I do like how this is in an upside down squeeze bottle. This makes it easy to get the product out easily while you are in the shower. However, this product is a thin silky-formula and once applied you really can’t see where it was applied. This can lead to missed spots and redo’s. Nobody likes to re-shave. I really like how silky the formula is and how tropical it smells. It is lightly scented, but it has a very vanilla tropical mango smell to it. Smells great. Works great. A little too thin of a formula for me to really enjoy using it, but overall I enjoyed the scent and how smooth it made my legs. I also really love that it is a plant based product with 100% vegetarian ingredients and leaping bunny certified. Cruelty free and paraben free, and never tested on animals. I will continue using this emollient shave cream. Love this brand. I’m very thankful for the opportunity to test this out. Thank you!

I have never used or heard of this brand prior to trying this out and I’m glad I was able to! It smelled really nice and light. I didn’t know if it would really do the trick of making my legs smooth with shaving but it did! I would recommend.

This was more of a gel than a cream, which I actual love. The fragrance level is lacking which is why I took away a star. It smelled good but was just very faint. I used it on my underarms,which is my most sensitive area, and I had no irritation. My razor bumps or burning sensation. Worms great in the shower and on wet skin. The cream is cooling as swlek. Will most definitely buy again and try a different scent.

Alba Botanical is a plant based and cruelty free brand! Their very emollient cream shave smells amazing with its mango vanilla scent! This is a hypo-allergic formula and can be used on dry skin. With ingredients like vitamin e and aloe vera expect your shave to be smooth and soothed! My legs were so soft after and no razor burn!

Wasn’t so Gaga about the smell worked good but not something I would run out to purchase maybe the mango threw me off . Did a good job getting close shave but not a huge fan of this product. Just so so .

This shaving cream works pretty good. It comes out nice and glides on the skin smoothly and evenly for a close shave. It made my legs feel soft and clean. I got the Scent mango vanilla and it smells really good. You can definitely smell the vanilla in it. This is plant based and Cruelty free. This product works well for me.

I'm a huge fan of Alba products, but had no idea they had a shaving cream in their line. I was a little weary because "Mango Vanilla" sounds very sweet, which is usually off-putting for me personally, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It smells like vacation! It's not terribly sweet and definitely not overpowering. The cream is thick, but rinses off easily from both the blade as well as the skin. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market!

I have to say, after using this, I am tempted to make the switch. Shaving was easy, I didn’t cut myself either. The mango vanilla scent was very pleasing. After using my legs were super soft, and I didn’t find the need to immediately add a moisturizer. They also looked great.
