This is a perfect set of items for anyone who's serious about shaving the manual way. For myself, I prefer a synthetic brush, which doesn't have an animal smell (boar) and the preshave oils, lather cream and balm are the perfect 1,2,3 for a complete shave. Sandalwood is a great smell, not flowery like some others, and is high on my list. You can't beat this value.
