However, I didn't notice much difference in the heat since I rinse my razor in hot water between strokes. The kit involves a process, starting with pre-shave oil meant to soften stubble. With my thick and coarse stubble, I didn't notice a significant change, though others might. Applying the included shaving cream with the soft brush feels nice. The Sandalwood-scented cream ensures a close, slick shave. The after-shave balm, with the same great scent, has a soothing effect, but I'm not a fan of moisturizer. Overall, I appreciate this product and its concept. If you're willing to invest extra time in shaving, it could become your new daily routine. For me, I will use it once a week.

This razor is the one of the best I have ever used. The heated feature reminds me of old-school hot towel barber shop feeling at your home. It truly makes a difference when you use the heated feature. Once you start using this heated razor, there is no going back to a regular razor. I like how the face feels after the shave. The longevity of the blades really depends on the type of facial hair. The battery lasts for 7 days full shaves without charging. (Avg 10 min shaves). The shaving cream provides a nice texture and allows my skin to feel less irritated post shave.

I cant begin to tell you much better my shaving experience is now. Before, when using your traditional shaving gel and a razor seemed like a task and i just wanted to get it done and over with now is an experience. I honestly enjoy the shaving experience and the reason for that was the art of shaving.  From the pre-shave oil, to the after-shave balm feels luxurious. The shaving cream smells amazing and forms a nice, rich, thick lather. The heated razor leaves you smooth to the touch the first time around. First of all, I'm used to just plain old shaving cream and your standard generic razor to shave with. This is the 5 star treatment with every shave. The heat from the razor is amazing and leaves less irritation. The shaving cream really lathers up nice and makes it for a smooth shave. The overall smell from them is earthy and modern. Overall a great kit for any man!
