Microwave itself is awesome! See Review.
The microwave itself is great! It's powerful, it's large, it has lots of features and it work really nice. I'm very happy with the microwave itself. As for the "smart connect" part of this machine... i give it 1 star. It took DAYS before we figured out how to get it connected to Alexa in order to use the voice activated smart features. We followed the directions, to the letter, but nothing we did worked. We downloaded the mSmartlife app, created a new profile and logged in. From there we went to alexa and added the Toshiba skill, and logged in with the same user id and password as the mSmartlife. (Many people did not catch this and as a result, they were shown a skill for air conditioning equipment... which i think is a fail for Toshiba. A company this well known, large and respected should really have its own tech in their own microwave along with their own app.). Anyhow, after the skill detected the Toshiba microwave, we ran Alexa to detect new hardware to no avail.

Alexa or Google Connected Microwave.
This 1.4 cubic feet Toshiba Alexa & Google Connected Smart Microwave works great. It fit right into the space where my old microwave set. Its rated power is 1500 watt input - 1100 watt output. It has a 30-second interval button. It has a turntable so your food gets heated evenly without having to turn your plate. You can connect Alexa or Google so you can speak commands to the microwave.

Im in love
This Microwave is wonderful. I did not realize how bad my old one was until I got this Toshiba Smart Microwave. It heats things so quickly and so evenly, its just wonderful. I love the easy to use keypad. My family was floored by the smart tech of being able to use google to do basically anything it is made to do including starting and stopping the microwave. We are also loving the voice command feature where we just press and tell it how long to heat for. It has been like a new toy for the whole family and we love it!

Simple to Setup, Use With Great Features
The Toshiba Smart Genie microwave is awesome. It is easy to setup and use. It connected to Alexa with ease and I was able to use it the way it was intended. It cooks and heats up well. There are a lot of one touch features that made it simple for everyone to use. My only dislikes with the microwave were: For the size, the glass for the turntable was way too small. It definitely needs to be bigger because it cannot fit large dishes to cook and heat up for a family. The door is too light and it slams when you closed it. Overall I was pleased and liked and the features of the microwave.

Voice Control Convenience
I was amazed that I could connect my Alexa to this microwave. It came in really handy while cooking Christmas dinner. I placed a bag of "steam in the bag" vegetables in the Toshiba microwave and while I was attending to other dinner items I was able to tell Alexa to start the microwave to cook the vegetables. The voice control aspect of this microwave is amazing but the unit itself is also top quality. It's 1.4 cubic feet size is huge and the 1,100 watts gives it the power to cook foods quickly. The construction is very sturdy and the door hinges seem tough and built to last. All in all this is an amazing microwave with voice control. I absolutely love it.

Pretty cool microwave
I have been really excited to turn my kitchen into a smart kitchen, starting with this microwave. I do a lot of baking and cooking on a daily basis. So, having a versatile kitchen assistant has been somewhat challenging but, intuitive. The microwave itself is designed nice, black, sleek, a bit bulky but more professional type look. I never thought I'd be giving my cooking appliances voice commands to to turn them on or off. It has helped with getting things done more efficiently in my kitchen. Definately something to get used to and comfortable using. Hands free navigation has been convenient using my Amazon Echo and simple to set up in the app. There are 23 preset menus available on the app to enhance the experience. You also get a child lock function for safety. Great technology. I'd absolutely recommend this innovated, enhanced cooking appliance to others.

Toshiba smart microwave, Tons of fun!
The Toshiba smart microwave was really exciting to use. It was not the easiest setup, we had to use the included manual to get all the appropriate information, the quick setup guide was missing a couple of steps (pushing the Wifi button on the microwave panel). Once it was setup, our Google home device did not recognize my commands, so my son tried it and it was able to follow his directions. After he ran through some of the basic commands, I gave it another try and this time it worked! We tested out the microwave timer (Google home device initially keep setting a timer named "microwave" ha). We tested out the defrost function, the preset popcorn function, and then just running the microwave regularly to heat food up. Overall, it was as fun as I thought it would be, although I'm still not able to set the time clock correctly. I can definitely make alot of use out of using the smart commands to run the microwave, and save valuable time trying to manually set it myself. Highly recommend.

Great microwave. Not so great App.
The Toshiba Alexa & Google Connected Smart Microwave has a sleek black, modern look. The microwave has a spacious interior with a turntable and a bright inside light that comes on when it is running. The outside LCD display is clear and bright, and has an Eco option to disable the clock if you want. The microwave has all of the built in presets and features that you would expect of a modern microwave. As a standard microwave it is a wonderful device. The mobile app this microwave uses is called "MSmartLife". It was easy to download the app from the Play Store, create an account and link the microwave to the app. Unfortunately linking the MSmartLife service to Google Home is not currently working. I don't know if this is just a temporary issue that is affecting the MSmartLife service or a bigger issue, but right now linking the MSmartLife Service to Google Home just does not work, so I was unfortunately unable to really test the unique Smart Features of the microwave.

Hey Google!/ Alexa
This microwave is awesome! In the beginning I couldn't understand why anyone would need a smart microwave, its not going to get up and get you a hot dog ,heat it up and then bring it to you?? However!!! If you plop your bag of popcorn in it BEFORE you start watching your movie- or you microwavable sides, for dinner- All you have to do is say "OK GOOGLE, Make my popcorn!" Boom. Run -grab your popcorn and run right back!! OOORRRR if your outside cooking- when your meat is almost done- "OK GOOGLE or Hey Alexa, Start microwave on 4 minutes" It is pretty cool! And not crazy expensive!!

My microwave is smart!
I am really pleased with the Toshiba Alexa & Google Connected Smart Microwave. It was easy to set up and to connect with Alexa. I didn't really think that a samart connected microwave was necessary. I was wrong. "Alexa microwave for 60 seconds" and voila, my food is cooking for 60 seconds. I have to remember to do updates to the app to get the most out of it. My food heated evenly and quickly. The microwave fit perfectly into my usual area. The light inside is bright and illuminated the entire microwave. The display is easy to read and the clock is good sized. I am really pleased so far!

I love this microwave. It's very easy to use with or without voice control. The microwave was very easy to connect to Alexa and use voice control to run it. It's a nice size and easily microwaves a decent amount.
