I have fine but long hair, and the dual action worked great on the lengths of my hair. I didn't find it as effective on the roots and i had to blow dry these. The shine shot mode worked great on my hair. My hair stayed straight and soft for days after using this tool. I loved it and will recommend it to others

My new favourite way to dry and style my hair! It’s so quick and easy to use. My hair was so soft and shiny after drying and styling. Did not damage my hair at all. If anything it made my hair much healthier. Definitely changed my hair routine for the better! Highly recommend!

Thanks to the GHD Duet my hair is the smoothest, softest and sleekest hair I have ever had! It feels amazing. The Duet takes a little bit of getting used to, I found I had to do small sections at time and had to guide my hair through a comb first to achieve the best results. It is heavy and because you have to squeeze it shut, my arms and hands get sore. It is quick to heat, and quick to adjust between settings. Normally my hair would need further styling the day after, but the results last longer than any other product I have used! I wouldn’t say it saves a lot of time but it does leave my hair feeling better then it ever has and lots of compliments about how shiny it is! I wish this product had some teeth or a comb on it to guide the hair through easier and wasn’t so heavy…. Other than that, it’s a great product that leaves a salon finish!

I was so impressed with how well the GHD Duet Style dried my hair. Normally with a hair dryer I can only get my hair 70% dry as its so thick. This syler tho I was able to try my hair 99% and then use the shine shot mode and straighten it at the same time. I notece my hair felt alot healthier and shiny start after use. I waited a week before washing my hair again and my hair stayed straight and healthy the whole time. I count not recommend this styler enough. Especially if like me you struggle to dry you hair properly but also control your hair aswell. It had replaced all my hair appliances.

When I first used the tool, the noise reminded me of an aeroplane ready to take off at the airport. But that’s because I wasn’t sure what to expect. The combined drying and straightening function is an excellent idea. It probably took the same time as it would to dry my hair with a hairdryer and then straighten it (I have thick hair), but it’s definitely useful to have a two-in-one tool. My hair is prone to being frizzy. Now, there is absolutely no frizz so I really like that. I don’t feel like I need the shine shot really. My hair looks good after drying and straightening without it. When using the shine shot, the machine heats up a lot. It’s quite a large tool as well - you need to be careful when placing it down to make sure it’s stable (we only have a tiny bathroom bench but it’s probably fine if you have more space). I’ve been straightening my hair for years. It’s very prone to being dry. But with this GHD, my hair still feels and looks healthy. It’s not dry at all. Love it!

I really like the combined drying and styling feature work on my hair. I like how I can style straight away without the need to first blow dry my hair before styling. It saved me a lot of time especially in the morning before work. The Shine-shot mode is quite easy to use. It is a touch of a button turning the dryer into a styler. It is quite handy because I won’t need to plug in the styler separately. My hair looked tidy and felt nice after using the tool. It didn’t dry out my hair. I really liked the result. So far, my hair seems good after using it. No visible damage or dryness. I find this tool as shorten the time of my hair routine by around 5-10 minutes. It is very efficient and not fussy. The results last at least pass lunch time.

The duet style is quickly and easily transformed my towel dried hair into being completely dry, soft, shiny and straight with little to no frizz. My hair has never looked or felt so good. The shine shot function is super handy, simply to active and can be used to perfect your hairstyle or touch up on subsequent days. My hair health appears to have remained unchanged since starting to use the ghd Duet Style with the use of a heat protection product. My hair remains soft and silky for days after use. I highly recommend the ghd Duet Style for anyone looking for a hair tool to streamline their routine.

The ghd has gotten easier to navigate the more times I’ve used it. The initial use took some time to get used to but once I used it the next few times I found it super easy. I have so much more time now. I have very thick hair which usually takes a long time to dry. To have a 2 in 1 styler makes life so much easier. I have found my hair stays straight and sleek for longer. I also give it a boost with the shine shot first thing in the morning just to give it a glide over. My hair is feeling easier to style and keeps straight for longer. The shine shot is a great addition. Having a straightener as well as dryer is a genius trick.

This is such an amazing product! Kudos to the ghd R&D team for coming out with this. I’ve been a loyal fan of their platinum+ styler for years now but I always struggle to dry my hair when I’m travelling since you can’t be bringing both dryer and styler on the plane with you it takes up so much space? This innovation saves up so much time and it’s so convenient for me. Personally I have very thick hair so it took me longer on drying mode but instead of 3 seconds I leave it for about 5-8 seconds to dry completely before I switch it to shine mode. I was worried that it wouldn’t work as good as their platinum+ styler but boyyyy I was wrong, it’s their classic optimal 185° temperature that glides through your hair wonderfully leaving it so glossy and straight.

This is a game changer! Compact and easy to use. Perfect for weekends away instead of packing a bulky hair dryer and straightener. Usually takes 40 minutes to blow dry and straighten my hair but this tool does both in half the time. Hair feels healthier than normal and I find my hair doesn’t get oily as quickly either. The only negative I could say is the roots do take a couple of attempts to dry completely. Overall really impressed and would recommend

I was really excited to trial this product and it didn't disappoint. Having thick and curly hair, often it is such a huge process to dry and straighten my hair. However, with this product, it was so easy and as I was drying my hair, it was easier to style and then just flat iron straight. I found the results were really good and lasted ages. My hair is healthy and the oil to protect it is really great too! Definitely would recommend this product.

I really loved the new Ghd 2 in 1 tool! It definitely shorten the time it would normally take to blow dry and then straighten my hair, it is also very convenient to have both tools in one, especially when travelling to only have to bring one thing. The shine feature was up there with my favourite part, my hair has never been so shiny. This combined with the ghd hair oil has changed my hair routine massively. My hair stayed straight for 4 days, on day 5 I added some dry shampoo and it lasted another day. After straightening with a normal straightener I found my ends to be dry however this tool does not create dry/crispy ends.

As a family with 4 daughters and two with long hair and myself with shoulder length I really wanted to try this combo straightener. Initially we tried it on my daughter who naturally has undyed and straight hair, the end result was lovely, however the time it took to get from dry to then using the straightening function was too long. I then used it on my hair which is highlighted blonde, the end result was a little frizzy. We used the serum that came with the straightener and followed the instructions each time. The straightener itself is rather large in comparison to my regular GHD straightener obviously as it is a combo product. Personally I would still prefer to use the hair dryer and my regular GHD straightener than this combo product as I believe I can get a better result in a shorter time frame. The packaging of the product was lovely as is every GHD product.

Seriously where has this thing been all my life, this GHD duet is amazing! Works so well and dries so quickly better than the hair dryer and tames my frizz so we'll, I hate washing my hair at night and sleeping with wet hair but no longer will be !! Thank you so much

Amazing hair styled, worked liked a dream. I did get a hair cut in the after photo though.
