Heinz^® Organic Pancake Mix Wholegrain Oat Original 125g

I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of this pancake mix. A lot of premixed pancakes do not taste anywhere near as good as homemade ones. These were so easy to make and tasted great too. Little bit of maple syrup dribbled over these and there were YUM!

I like the fact that you can make small quantities at a time however the taste was not that great

Mix never thickened even with added extra dry ingredient and waiting time and was thin like crepe mixture. This made it difficult to cook and flip. Cooked mixture was terrible and bland. Toddler did not like it and she is not fussy. I tasted it, it was awful. Shocked this product has passed quality control and is on shelves for parents to buy. I'm an avid home cook who makes various homemade pancakes regularly and if it doesn't work for me, most people will struggle with it.

We found the mix a bit dry and needed to add extra milk. My son asked for honey and said they didn't taste very nice, he is two so I had a try and they were tasteless. The mixture was easy to mix and they were easy to cook but I do think they just needed a little something to give them a bit of taste.

We LOVE these in our house. Great to make quick and easy food for bubs, knowing he can eat it on his own, and it's enhanced with some extra goodies. We add one extra tbsp of the mixture to get a better texture, other than that they are great. We even make ahead and freeze, ready for next lunch.

Very quick and easy to make for bub. I found that using peanut butter in place of regular butter/oil resulted in a much nicer and enjoyable flavour. I love that they are fortified with iron. Will definitely purchase again for a quick and easy breakfast.

We LOVE these in our household , from my 11 month old as well as my hubby. Just like your normal pancakes, can go with anything - fruit, yogurt, butter, jam etc. Love the ingredients used, especially the whole grain oats AND the no added sugar. One little thing that could be improved is the texture - they can get gluggy.
