Mecca Cosmetica Replenishing Niacinamide Serum

Enjoyed the texture of this serum, it has a smooth texture and absorbs well, sits well under day cream and makeup. Didn’t see any significant difference with skin texture, in particular areas of pigment is slightly patchy. Overall this product worked well at leaving my skin feeling hydrated and looking plump.

After testing Mecca Niacinamide Serum I wasn't as impressed as I'd hoped to be. The product is packaged really well, pleasing to the eye and the little dropper cradle helps avoid spills and mess. The product itself is just not as effective on my skin as expected. Positives: skin well hydrated and it does help moisturisers sink in well after use, skin texture slightly smoother than before use. I had some persistent pimples that refused to budge even after 3 weeks of using this, and it did nothing my skin tone. I will continue using as it does feel very nice going on.

Packaging and bottle/dropper are very nice and make the product look luxurious. On trial the smell of the product is lovely, a small amount goes a long way and the serum felt very nice on my skin. Around day 10/11 I noticed my skin appears to be much more hydrated, especially across my cheeks and nose. My skin also seems to have a glow. I didn’t however notice much difference in the fine lines. But overall a very nice product.

The scent is an enjoyable balance of citrus and it feels refreshing and lightweight on my skin and left my skin feeling well hydrated. I cant get enough of this serum. Its definately a new favourite in my skin care routine and I plan to buy more before i run out.

I was excited to receive this product from the home testers club. Love the packaging & the hygienic dropper. It smells beautiful & natural. Love the velvety texture & how it felt on my skin. I followed the instruction & used 3 times per week after cleansing & toning. I have clear, soft & smooth skin. Not sure why it broke me out with a couple of whiteheads. I really wanted to like this product.

I liked using this product! It has a pleasant scent, a nice consistency to it and a little goes a long way. It spreads easily across the skin and is quite light on the skin making applying other facial products including sunscreen and makeup over the top of it quite easy. I feel there’s been a visible reduction in the texture of my skin particularly across the cheeks and around the jaw line.

Lovely luxe packaging, dropper style lid is great for metering out usage. The serum sinks into my skin nicely, it doesn't leave a sticky residue, my skin looks nice and hydrated after application. My skin had a small purge a few days in, but this resolved within 72 hours. After about 10 days I noticed my skin was continuing to look plumb and hydrated, I had a nice little glow. I've continued to use it and will purchase another bottle to continue to see if my skin derives an ongoing benefit.

I was very excited to try this product. The packaging was really nice and the product was really easy to use. I used it daily since I received it and have found overall my skin looks and feels more hydrated. Fine lines look finer. I have also had problems with acne over the last few months and have had noticable improvement. The only issue I've had is that it dries a bit white, so make sure you apply your moisturiser over your face evenly, otherwise you will have white streaks. Overall great product.

As you could tell from the title of this review, I had high hopes for this product. I was really happy when selected for this product test as I had been researching different products to change up my skin care routine at the time. I used the product consistently every night as part of my nighttime skin care routine; applied after cleansing, toning and prescriptions, and before moisturising. Going into my 30s, my skin is not as youthful and bright as it was, fine lines and wrinkles are showing, I have many freckles that have formed in particular places due to previous sun damage (a definite drawback of being a natural redhead is the ease of which you get sunburnt) and I am prone to red splotchy patches and occasionally have breakouts. I had hoped to see some distinct improvements such as less breakouts, reduced pores, reduced redness, and generally healthier looking skin but I did not notice the change I was hoping for. My skin texture improved slightly. No adverse effects though.

Quite sticky when first applied but then skin feels tight and replenished. Can definitely feel the difference.

Overall a decent product. The bottle and dispenser were nicely made. Product smelled good, nothing chemical. The product contains serum which should help with replenishing moisture and shine in skin. Used it for 3 weeks, things noted are: - no allergic reaction - skin felt moisturised - did not notice any obvious changes/improvement on my skin

I have really enjoyed this serum. It is very easy to apply and almost has a slight oily texture to it, while still feeling lightweight. At first, I did experience a little bit of sensitivity, but I was using it 1-2 times a day and my skin can be a little reactive to new actives anyway. Once I scaled back to every 2nd day, the sensitivity went away completely. I have noticed my skin looks and feels more hydrated and smooth since I've started using the serum and the overall experience of using it has been wonderful. The bottle is also very beautiful. It feels expensive, which also adds to the luxurious experience.

I have been using this serum for several weeks now, and as a rosacea sufferer I am pleased to say that I have seen a noticeable improvement in the redness and inflammation on my skin . The lightweight formula is very easy to apply and absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue. This serum has been a wonderful addition to my skincare routine, and I will continue to use it.

Love this serum! I have found that my face looks so bright and clear. The serum is a lovely texture that sinks into the skin nicely. The smell is very citrusy.
