Plantry

When i tried it for the very 1st time i was abit dicey about it as i had always had real meat but now ive tried i wont be going back im sticking with the Plantry range thats for sure and also the whole family enjoyed it too thanks

The frozen meals were easy to find, reheat as per instructions, and theyre pretty good. I had the frozen pad thai for lunch a few days this week as a trial and I liked the favours, it was simple while also cutting back on my weekly meat intake without the sacrifice of flavour or protein intake which I liked (and I think is relevant when you're eating a plant based diet). The other strips/burgers/products were really limited & I had to travel to a woolworths 40 minutes from me to get them... even then very limited stock which is a shame. The burgers has a good consistency and when paired with salad sauce and a nice bun you couldn't really tell that it was vego option- reminded me of the plant based options at grill'd. Definitely something I will buy again, especially for parties when you know there are vegetarian/vegan guests. Simple yum and easy to pair for burgers. One style we liked was paired the burgers with grilled pineapple for a summer twist

As long time vegetarians we are always wary of meat substitutes... but Plantry is one of the best we have seen and taster. The strips in particular were a favourite and even gained the approval of a canrivore. It is all about the texture. More ofthen than not meat substitues fail at texture but the plantry porducts we enjoyed were the closest we have seen. I would definatelty recommend them to any meat eater wanting to reduce thier meat consumption or for any vegetarians that have that craving for a meat product now and then.

Really loved trialing the Plantry range. They have a great variety and all tasted great! Even my meat-eating partner really enjoyed these as an alternative. I particularly loved how thick and crunchy the chicken burgers were, I will definitely be eating these regularly. Whether you eat meat and are just looking for something different or you are vege these are a great alternative to enjoy for an easy weeknight dinner.

Is very convenient, cause when i finish my work,go back home,i just need to put the product into microwave for few minutes,and it will be ready to eat!

I like the taste and texture of the product, it was nice and easy to cook. The price is reasonable and affordable but It was hard to find in store.

I've loved every Plantry product I've tried so far but especially the chicken-style burgers, so crispy and delicious! The chicken-style strips were tasty and so easy to add to a stir fry. Definitely something I would regularly keep in the freezer for a yummy & quick dinner! I'm excited to try more of their products andcan't wait for whatever they come out with next!

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the pad Thai was! Smelt amazing and you wouldn’t know it was a meat alternative!

This is a very good option for people who are trying to reduce meat consumption. Easy to prepare, tasty and healthy alternative to meat. Save the pain, eat healthy and definitely try Plantry!

The plantry range is a great option for vegans, vegetarians, and people trying to reduce their meat intake. I found the chicken a little bland on its own, but when mixed with condiments and seasoning, they were delicious. They didn't leave a soy after-taste like some meat alternatives. They absorbed the flavours and complimented the dish well. The texture was wonderful, very meaty. And they held their shape well when cooking.

It's a good plant based alternative. I loved the taste as it tasted exactly like chicken

I found it difficult to source the primary Plantry products that were specified in this taste test. After confirmation that I could just test the ready made products, I was able to buy the Spaghetti Bolognaise. I enjoyed this as a convenient and easy meal after work. The taste was very nice.

I did enjoy the texture and taste of the Plantry meat substitute products in my burger and meals! However based on the nutritional value compared between Plantry and other meat substitutes it did fall a little flat for me. I typically enjoy a high and varied protein source in my burger ‘meat’ etc. But not to disregard the taste of them. They were enjoy in that respect! If you’re not too concerned about nutritional value and just taste you will enjoy these option!
