Russell Hobbs Handheld Supreme Steamer

I was very excited to try this steamer and had high expectations (maybe too high). Unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations. I tested it on my linen white top that I would normally iron with a hot iron. It made a little difference to the wrinkles but I will still need to use my iron. I liked the attachment to sanitise the mattresses and I also liked the idea of using another attachment to add my favourite perfume to the steam to give my clothing a nice fragrance. Unfortunately this isn't an item I would be going out to buy.

Was quiet surprised how well it worked. A jacket I had in he cupboard that I had not warn for a few years came up looking really good,so easy to use.

Wow, wow, wow! I love it. This steamer is so quick and easy to use! Works great on lot of kinds of fabrics. Great for getting wrinkles out of clothes (and curtains). I also used it to sterilise some surfaces and kids toys! The power cord is very long which was very helpful. Very quick to heat up. I was able to steam alot of items before having to refill the tank. The design and colours of this steamer are noticeably beautiful. Absolutely recommend this steamer!

It's a luxury item that makes doing laundry a bit quicker. I loved having the convenience of taking clothes out of my wardrobe and freshening them up within a minute. Having a full wardrobe I found that sometimes clothing would get wrinkled or start to smell and items would then need to be rewashed or ironed. I had a shirt that this was going to happen to however I had the steamer plugged in and within minutes I had the item ready to wear out. The item easily removes wrinkles from most clothing items. Although there are a couple of issues and is mainly with the attachments. Firstly I tried using the scent infuser attachment. I had put in my favourite scent and that would infuse into my clothes. Initially I could smell the scent on the clothes however once the item cooled (1-2mins) I could no longer smell the scent I had wanted. It had almost disappeared. I had also attempted to use the attachment with the lint and the lint remover "sticker" peeled away due the heat of the steamer.

I love this steamer. So easy to use and it is faster than ironing. It is a big learning curve using this but I love using it.

Easy to use.. will not completely take over from your hand iron but is a great product. Well thought out

I was hoping that this would be the miracle appliance that would overcome my hatred of ironing. Unfortunately this was not the case. I found it fantastic for synthetics and more delicate fabrics but on cotton and linen shirts I found that i didn’t get as good a result as I did with the old iron. Perhaps if there was a way to increase the heat and steam function it might be the perfect appliance! I would recommend it if you don’t have a lot of cotton and linen clothes as it is quick and easy to use and removes creases beautifully

I was skeptical at first but was amazed to find that it worked just as well, if not better, than an iron. So easy to use and works brilliantly. Great not having to set up the ironing board and running the risk of ruining delicate clothing if the iron is too hot

Instructions easy to follow and hand held is easy to use. Not too heavy, I was worried arm would tire.. but it did not. I tested and steamed cotton dress, business shirts and cotton pants. All creases out..worked a charm. clothes were slightly damp but not a big issue. Would have preferred cordless and one some sort of stand. I must admit it was hard to iron alone, I had to have someone hold up the garment or find a door etc to hang clothing from , which was annoying as it limited where I could use the steamer.

This is a truly fantastic steamer! It is very High end product and you can see that alot of thought has gone into it. It does a brilliant job at taking all the creases out. It also has alot of extras which is a bonus, things like scent infuser delicates and upholstery attachments. You can see and feel that this is really great quality and I LOVE the fact that it has a swivel cord at the base which makes it so easy to manoeuvre. Overall fantastic product, well done Russell Hobbs!

I absolutely love it! I especially found it brilliant at smoothing out some curtains I had hung a month ago which still had creases. As a handheld appliance with a button lock (saving finger strain), this little compact gem is so useful. It is stylish and robust, with a heft to it that a lot of modern 'plasticcy' appliances don't have. I really like the design and rose gold trim finish. There are thoughtful designs in the attachments - how cool is the fragrance option - simply douse your favourite fragrance in the removeable insert and you can steam your scent onto fabrics of your choice. The unit heats quickly, and there is absolutely no water splutter (like you sometimes get with a not fully heated iron). The unit is quiet and steams evenly. I only wish the water tank had a bigger capacity because 1 T-shirt did use up one tank on it's own. Great for a freshen up of clothing anytime and anywhere!

Wow, honestly I’m blown away by this Russell Hobbs handheld supreme steamer. Not only is it presented in an appealing color pallet, the functioning is amazing. Aside from the quick safe steam iron of my clothes, from linen to silk the most impressive and selling point of this model is the scent infusers you can spray with your favorite perfume or scent and then when steaming your clothes they are also infused with the scent. Thankfully it comes with several of these infuser tabs so I just place them in separate little zip lock bags and I chose which one to use depending on my mood. When I want to give my clothes a general freshen up in the robe I use this gently across the clothes and they smell beautiful and fresh. Highly recommended for anyone, it’s quick to heat up (around 40 seconds) and takes very minimal time to complete ironing your clothing item.

Great item to have , it’s great for travelling as it’s a fairly compact design so doesn’t take up too much room in luggage.

The Russell Hobbs Handheld Supreme Steamer has quickly become a staple in my household. If I need to remove wrinkles etc it is quick and easy to use. Unfortunately it is quite heavy and can get a little exhausting after two garments or so. Also the lint part of an attachment came off on the first use and is relatively useless. The other attachments are fantastic and do their job. I am excited to use this steamer for school and work uniforms after the holidays.
