Ok I guess
We thought we would try something new and purchased this cereal. I love hot cross buns , but the flavour through this cereal doesn’t taste quite right. I just prefer the original sultana bran.

Different
We tried this and thought the flavour sounded nice. We have it a go but it wouldn’t be our favourite. We prefer the original but this is ok as something different but wouldn’t probably buy again. Definitely worth giving it a go though.

not a fan
smelt good when opening box just like hot cross buns, disappointed by lack of taste. Will stick to the original which I love, although it has less sultanas these days.

Okay but too sweet
Original Sultana Bran does it best, but this isn't a bad shot at something different. Its too sweet for my liking, but i wouldn't stop a friend from buying it.

Two favourite flavours!
I was super excited to see these two flavours come together! It’s a subtle add but not overpowering. I hope it stays on the shelf!

Smells nice
This version sounds like its going to be nice, smells nice when you open to the box but once you add milk and eat as your normally would, it tastes just the same as original Sultana Bran.

Somethings should just be left alone
Was dubious and I should have been. Left bad taste in mouth. Why bother changing something when the original is pretty darn good - ALTHOUGH I think over recent years the sultana count has gone down?

Not a fan
Honestly it didn't taste good at all and left a bad after taste in my mouth I was excited to try this product and was disappointed with the results I would much prefer the original over this

Just like the original
I was excited to try this product as I love hot cross buns but was quite disappointed with the taste. I could smell cinnamon when I opened the packet but that was where it ended. I found that the taste was very similar to the original Sultana Bran. I think I will just stick with the original!

Disappointing flavour
I was very excited to try the hot cross bun flavour, but very disappointed when i ate them. I ate my first mouthful and thought this just tastes like the original flavour better keep eating as i thought it might get better. It didnt, which is a shame. Very disappointed

Aroma but no taste
The product had a really stong hotcross bun aroma and so I was really excited to try. Unfortunately the hot cross bun experience there , none in the taste, just regular sultana bran which is OK.

Same but Extra
Was on special so had to try just in time for Easter. The smell of yummy hot cross buns hits you as soon as you open the bag. It tastes like normal but the cinnamon and spices are a nice twist and made breakfast extra fun. It’s not made from hot cross buns so don’t expect it to be anything like the sweet fluffy bread, it’s still a bran flake cereal.

Ok,
I had to try this as soon as I seen it, I love sultana bran as well as hot cross buns. To be honest it doesn’t taste that different to the normal one, I do like it but it was a little disappointing that it did not have a completely different flavour.
