Betty Crocker Vanilla Cake Mix

This cake was so fluffy and soft. The kids absolutely loved it and pretty much ate it soon as i made it. It's made me realise I should bake more often as they were big fans of both cakes that I did. The buttercream was very very tasty. It does exactly what it says on the package, very easy instructions and didn't take long to make. Would recommend!

It was simple to follow the instructions, all I needed to do was empty the cake mix into a bowl, add 3 eggs, water and vegetable oil. After mixing and pouring the cake mix into the tin it only took 30 minutes to cook. Once cooled and iced it was ready to serve. The sponge was very light, moist and the vanilla flavour was apparent. It was slightly crumbly in the middle when I cut it but it was very pleasant. I never buy cake mixes but if I needed something quick and easy I would definitely recommend this.

This cake mix is excellent value for money. It mixes extremely well, no lumpy bits! You can add flavours to it if you wish. It cooks perfectly and even. It stood up to decorating beautifully and best of all it tasted like I’d made it from scratch. Highly recommend

Wow! Wow! Wow!! This cake mix was so much better than I expected and I have now been converted. I did have to refer to the internet to clarify how much a 'cup' was but apart from this, the whole process was simple and straightforward. The cake rose beautifully, cooked evenly and had a gorgeous golden colour to it. The cake was delicious and was so well received by the family...it did not take long before it was completely devoured! The sponge was so light and fluffy, you'd be forgiven for thinking it was baked from scratch. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!! I will definitely be buying again!

This was a simple straightforward cake mix to make. Easy to follow the instructions and good results. The cake itself is a bit too sweet for me and overly vanilla flavour, but tastes good and light and fluffy. Moist is definitely the word, not dry at all. I’d recommend this cake mix if you want to make a cake quickly and good results. It’s very close to a traditional American very vanilla and super sweet cake.

So today I made the Betty Crocker vanilla cake .Well what can I say ,packet mix instructions were easy to follow .The batter mix for the cake was lovely and thick and creamy.It rose to double its size in the oven.Allowed to cool and filled with jam and homemade buttercream.The texture was super soft and moist.It was a delightful slice of cake to eat.Top marks for Betty Crocker cake mixes.Would recommend and buy again when on offer though.

Using this product to make a cake for my birthday (23/06/22) was a really brilliant idea because I managed to captivate both myself and everyone who enjoyed the taste of the finished product.The aroma of vanilla captivated me as soon as I opened the package and continued to delight me even after the finished cake was me.I preferred to colour it purple but that in no way took away from the aroma or the quality of the texture.It was baked to perfection and was not dry.I followed the instructions on the package to make sure I got the perfect countertops. Thanks to this mix I realized that making a cake is a real fun and not a disaster with a lot of dirty dishes,kitchen in general and a disastrous result -I cook, sing and enjoy the professional results I achieve with Betty Crocker Vanilla Cake Mix.I prepared cream with mascarpone and powdered sugar, which was perfectly described by the vanilla taste of the mix.There is no way to make a mistake in the preparation as everything is explained.

It is delicious vanilla cake, nice texture, very spongy, nicely flavoured, moist, dissolving in mouth. Extremely quick to mix butter. I love the fact that baking time given on the packaging including different sizes of baking tray and even muffin tray, that very useful. I had a bit of trouble to measure other ingredients and measurements given on the pack were in cups and Fahrenheit but that’s just small issue. Surprised that I had to add only 3 eggs , veg oil and water. Will buy again.

I would say I like the cake taste and how it was easy to make, children absolutely loved it, with the right sauce’s it’s taste great

Instructions were very easy to follow, only downside was could have gas mark on the Instructions to make it easier for people with older ovens. The cake baked through evenly and rose nicely. The sponge was very light, so light that it crumbled on one edge as we removed it from the pan. Taste test: the cake was light and airy, lovely and sweet. This cake was a hit with the whole family. And we would definitely make it again. This came with no icing, filling or decorations. Even though the cake mix was to be split into 2 tins and then put together once cooked. So we ended up using what we had at home to complete the cake before serving.

Easy to follow instructions. However the desired cooking temperature was 350°C- this is extremely high. The cake burnt on the outside and underneath, and rose like a volcano in the middle. I'm disappointed with the results, but the overall taste was nice and not overly sweet.
