John Frieda Frizz Ease Extra Strength 6 Effects Serum

Firstly I was sceptical as I have tried other John Frieda product before and I didn't get on with it but this product surprised me. It has thick consistency and smoothes hair out nicely, prevents my hair tangling on the back, and it still keeps them smooth for next day too. Good serum for ends

I have long, wavy hair. John Frieda Frizz Ease serum makes my hair frizz free and smooth. After just one use my hair feels silky soft. I will definitely keep on using this product.

7/10, A new favourite. The bottle is sleek and has a lock feature, great for travel and preventing spillage. The texture is a gel, quite thick which does make it a little harder to spread through hair strands, particularly if you have hair that knots easily, but it also seems to help with 'clinging' on to the hair and coating it. The smell gives salon vibes, lightly perfumed and sweet. As a heat protector it's great, using 3-4 pumps for a full head of hair seemed to make my hair dry a lot quicker and made it very smooth. The finish was glossy, sleek, smooth and with a consistent texture throughout the strands. The next time I washed, the smoothness actually seemed to stay which was a surprise. I also used this between washing to keep frizz at bay and maintain the smooth texture which worked very well. I'd definitely buy this again and use regularly to keep my hair smooth.

My first thoughts of the John Frieda serum was that It smelt nice and wasn’t overly greasy like my previous brand used. After using a couple of times I noticed it tamed my frizz.

The serum was viscous, and had light beautiful scent. Tried it after shower, my hair became smoother and increased in Volume. It's a great Serum, grab one NOW !!

The serum is thick but not sticky and coats the hair well leaving a nice sheen to the hair. When dry it holds its shape and definition with minimal frizz. You only need a few pumps for shoulder length hair. There is no sticky residue or straw like appearance on the hair and it’s still easier to brush through. My hair feels nice and soft and the product allows your hair to move and is not ridged

I was really impressed with this Serum, the bottle has a function to turn it to lock and unlock so there is no accidental waste or the product, so good to use for travelling. The only thing I would say about the bottle that it does use a lot of unnecessary plastic as the inner tube holds the serum (purple bit) and the clear outer tube does nothing, it would be better just to have the inner tube as the packaging would be a lot smaller to carry around too. The Serum itself is clear, doesn’t have a strong smell but the smell is pleasant, it doesn’t feeling too sticky in your hands on application and it really helped to tame my frizzy hairs. I have attached a photo; I didn’t even have to straighten my hair after using this which was a bonus! I simply towel dried my hair applied the serum and blow dried; it dried so much straighter than usual and kept my frizz under control. I’ll defiantly be using it again! The price of this product is also great value for money.

Good product and i can imagine with the amount you need to use - it would last for a very very long time. One thing I wasn’t so keen on is it’s recommended you put it on soaking wet hair, whereas I would rather put it on damp hair. Like the fact it has heat protection too. Overall a good product!

I am very happy with the serum. I love the fact you just apply it to the wet hair. Not greasy and with amazing aroma. Makes hair shiny and soft.

The John Frieda frizz serum has a good consistency and smells beautiful, however after using it a few times I did not notice any significant difference to my hair frizz. I found that the product left my hair a little dry then usual. But it did leave my hair smelling beautiful.

This is a very good serum. It has a slightly oily consistency and you only need to apply small amount. It is very easy to apply. It left my hair feel smooth and sleek. I am not sure whether it removed all of the frizz but it did tame it quite well. My straighteners glided through my hair very easily, I would say much easier than with any other serum that I have used in the past. I would definitely recommend this product and will definitely be buying it again in the future.

Love it, this serum is really good and this is what my long hair need! I am using hair straightener offten and my hair get frizzy and dry. After applaying just one pump on hair you can see visible different , hair looks lots helthier smooth, sleek and moisture! Thanks to special complex protect from heat styling and humidity!! Very efficient! Recommend!!

This product is lovely and thick in consistency which makes it very nice to work with on my very thick hair. I found it did leave my hair feeling a bit stiff in places when I didn't blow dry it but that was fine after a brush. And was probably more me not working the product through or using too much. My hair however when blow dried was left feeling amazing, soft and shiny. It held up well in humidity with only a few unruly flyaways. Which was great in the very muggy humid weather we have had. Light fruity scrummy smell. But not very much product for your money. But a little does go a long way. And my hair is very thick. I think a bottle would last me maybe a month.

Wow, my hair has never felt softer or looked shinier. This is amazing stuff, none greasy. I applied to soaking wet hair, easier to brush and when dried my hair feels like silk. No frizz, split ends are gone and this is just after the second use. I dye my hair loads bleach and colour and my hair is already in practically virgin hair condition from this stuff, never going to be without this ever again. I definitely recommend it.
