Le Creuset Essentials Cast Iron Round Casserole Soup Pot 22cm Volcanic

I have always wanted a Le Creuset Dutch oven and I’m so pleased with it! I’ve already made a delicious pot of soup. It cooks evenly, cleans easily and looks beautiful on my stove. I am so pleased with my purchase. Expensive, but very well worth the price.

I am obsessed with high quality products that, when properly cared for will last a lifetime. Le creuset is up there in that category in terms of brands that are expensive but very often worth it, particularly when it comes to their enameled cast iron. The versatility of this is wonderful, I love being able to move it from stove to oven and vice versa and being able to bake bread it in. (Volcano bread is my favorite!). One time, the temperature gauge on my oven broke and within 30 minutes the oxtail stew in there was burnt. Burnt as in black charred charcoal and I was sure I had ruined my casserole but a little baking soda and salt and it is now still good as new. One of my go to wedding gifts or for friends starting out their kitchen journeys.

A joy to cook with, a gift from my husband for my birthday. love the volcanic orange colour and how heavy it is. It retains heat so well and looks amazing on my cooker. Cooks food to perfection. X

Outstanding simply cooks and tastes more intense. The way it conducts heat evenly. Turns simple dishes into superb. The handles can be tricky to handle and of course its heavy.

I have always wanted one of these as we had one in our childhood home. It is as amazing as I remember - it may be a bit pricey but you get what you pay for :)

I have 3 pieces of Le Creuset and they are years old and still going strong. Best investment ever. This pot is the perfect size for any casserole or stew. Love that you can use it on the hob to brown meat and veg and then put it straight inside the oven.
