The onn. 36” 5.1 soundbar packs a surprisingly good punch! The sound is an improvement compared to my last soundbar and I absolutely love the bass it pumps out (rattles windows if turned all the way up). I can hear speech very clearly which is important. I love the immersive quality of the audio, especially with movies! I was honestly impressed with the sound it puts out. The remote control is very easy to use and navigate. The status light on the soundbar itself could use improvement. There are several colors of lights in there; but when the soundbar is on the green “on” light drowns out the other colors so you can’t see a light blink to let you know it received a command from the remote such as turning the volume up or down. I also would have appreciated some advice in the owner’s manual about the best placement of the components – I had to look that up online. Overall, I am happy with this soundbar and the sound it provides in a compact package.

I tried this connected to my TV via HDMI, laptop via aux output, and my phone via bluetooth. Set up for each was easy. The sound is crisper at lower volumes so it isn't ideal for watching movies on my tv when I like to turn up the volume for a fuller effect. The higher you turn up the volume, the muddier the sound gets. Also, the sound doesn't get as loud as my much older system. When I connected it to my laptop I noticed some issues. There's a bright indicator light that stays on the entire time the soundbar is on which is annoying. When I paused the audio on my laptop to take a call, the speaker turned off after a couple of minutes. This keeps happening and I'm not sure why. I couldn't even find a manufacturer website to help fix this issue which is absolutely ridiculous. This easily connects via bluetooth so I can stream music from my phone. I wouldn't use this to replace a surround sound system. I'll be using it as an upgrade for my computer speakers for gaming and streaming music.

Good sound quality for the price. The instructions were terrible, though. I like the sound of the bass speaker a lot. The soundbar itself leaves something to be desired. I will keep in our bedroom for now, but I have read of these potentially being a fire hazard. I am extremely worried after reading this.

This Soundbar is awesome. It came in a timely fashion and well packaged. This product came with all and any cords needed for set up. The system was easy to install. It was so simple that my 15 yr old son had it accomplished in 15 minutes. The Onn 36" 5 .1 Soundbar provides a deep rich sound which is easily controlled with the provided remote. There is an equalizer that makes customization easy. I love watching movies with the system. For me, it's as good as being at the theater. All devices can be paired with the soundbar for Bluetooth use. I use the Spotify app on my television so it's like having a nice stereo. A quote from my Son- "When I play my video games with the Soundbar, I can FEEL it only soul!". That's the best endorsement I can give!

The Onn 36” 5.1 soundbar has been a welcome addition to my bedroom. The sound is wonderful. It is fairly easy to set up, I did run into some issues, but I was able to resolve them and get everything working. At first, I did not think the subwoofer was good, but I switched over from watching TV to listening to music using my phone over Bluetooth and the subwoofer had my room shaking. I also found the subwoofer worked well during suspenseful movies. I am not a big fan of the light indicator being on the front and center of the soundbar, this was very distracting for me. The subwoofer also has a light that flashes between blue and red on the back, but the subwoofer is out of sight for me. The remote can be useful once you understand all the buttons, but there is no indication whether a button Is doing what it is supposed to, so it is a bit of a guessing game whether it’s working or not. Overall, the soundbar has really made it easier to hear my TV over noises such as my portable AC.

In all honesty, I thought this was going to be just the soundbar for in front of the television, but it is a complete surround sound system, with a woofer and 2 rear speakers! Wow! does it sound great! Gives me that movie theater sound. The onn. 36” 5.1 Soundbar was simple enough to install, I just needed my husband to explain what all he had plugged into the tv. Once I found an empty port, it was easy to just plug it in. There where no instructions as to where exactly to place the rear speakers, but as all rooms are different, that is understandable. So there will be some trial and error as to finding the perfect places for them. My suggestion, do not mount them to the wall until you find the "sweet spot". I love the remote control, so nice to have the ability to adjust volume, bass, treble, etc. at my fingertips, so I can get the perfect sound.

This soundbar was solid, if you're looking to get a starter/one with some extra features. I've used a couple of different soundbars in the past so having one a little different was a nice change of pace. However, It did have its flaws. Overall, it was a good soundbar but not the best- If it's in your price range, you could definitely do worse. Here's my list of Pros & Cons: PROS: -While feeling a bit 'plastic-y', it still felt well built and solid enough. -The many inputs it comes with is very nice -The Bass speaker was much heftier than a previous soundbar I've used CONS: -While being a bit larger overall & even with a nice bass speaker, the sound still left a little to be desired. It wasn't quiet by any means but I used bars that could go about 20-30% more. -I had this hooked into my PS4 & there was a weird 'lag' when using the menu screen -The input system was a little hard to access from the front Overall, it's a good soundbar with flaws that could be worthwhile for the budget.

The ONN 36" 5.1 Soundbar delivers crystal clear sound quality that gives your living room a movie theater auditory experience. Truly on point at delivering the whole acoustics of how a movie was meant to be enjoyed. Definitely would recommend.

The soundbar has a great sound it turned my family room into a theater. I like that it's blu-tooth connected and included all the cables I needed. The instructions were very small and difficult for me to read. They were also extremely limited with no troubleshooting help. I was unable to do it myself and had to get someone to help me set it up. The soundbar blocks the remote receiver on my tv, so I used a couple of blocks to raise it.

I absolutely love the onn. 5.1 Soundbar System. It is a 5 speaker+wireless subwoofer set which consist of a 36” soundbar with subwoofer and stereo. It includes everything you need to to get set up and has Bluetooth connectivity. The sound is amazing and you can control your music with a press of a button on the remote or on the soundbar itself. I highly recommend this system.

This is an amazing sound bar system! It only took my husband 15 minutes to set it up. It isn’t bulky at all. It fits nicely around our t.v. What we like mostly about it is the Sound quality is stellar. While watching movies with regular sound on our tv we would have to turn it up to hear what they were saying and turn it down for music and sound. Well, we don’t have to do that now with the sound bar... it’s perfect!!

The onn. 36" 5.1 soundbar has a very sleek, minimal design that goes perfect with my entertainment center. I love that the bar and L and R speakers can be mounted on the wall, since my shelf space is limited. I'll be honest, the setup seemed straightforward but I absolutely cannot get it to work with my TV. It worked right away with my computer and the sound is incredible! The subwoofer really makes a huge difference in my listening experience. I'm sure it's an issue with my TV and not the speakers or wires, but it is a little too complicated for me to figure out by myself, so I'll have to call for help to get it set up.

Edit: I am sorry to say that after about one month of very irregular use the subwoofer became very unreliable. It cuts in and out (mostly out) constantly. The pattern appears to be the subwoofer works for the first 5 minutes, but then either cuts in and out or completely goes out once the unit is warm. Seeking a replacement. Original: I have to say I was thoroughly and happily surprised with the sound quality coming from this Walmart branded soundbar, subwoofer and 2 rear speakers. The rear speakers seem to put out sound full-time, as opposed to true "surround" speakers which generally only emphasize sound effects and background noise. I'm fine with that, however, because I'll use this system for music as much as I will for TV, so that's not a point of contention for me. This system provides all the highs and lows you need, and not once in trying this with music or TV did I feel like it produced a "tinny" sound, which is often found in cheaper lower-end models.

Its like being at the movies at home the sound effects is amazing my phone can Bluetooth to it and I can control it from any place in my house I am so happy with it and my family is so excited for family night now with the soundbar makes there cartoon movies more real for them thanks #HomeTesterclub

Directions could be a lot clearer plus it should come with screws to hang up your speakers. All in all for an inexpensive soundbar it sounds clear and feels like your in a movie theatre.
