At first, I was skeptical about this product, but in the end, it works perfectly.

I liked the product. It smelled really good, It was easy to apply. My only thought was whether or not it was necessary, if it made a difference for the overall shave and I am not sure if the pre shave oil did. I give it a 4 because it was good but I am not sure if it was needed. I would recommend it if you feel the need for a pre shave routine but I personally probably would not get it again.

It's not exactly something that I use all the time, so it was a bit different. Given the time in the mornings, I would definitely use it, as it seem to make a huge difference in my skin.

I usually do not use pre-shave oil and when I rarely do it is generally unscented. So using pre-shave oil has been a new experience for me. The Art of Shaving Lemon Pre-Shave Oil feels very good on my beard. Generally I take a hot shower and dry myself off before I begin my shaving routine. I then either splash my face with hot water or hold a hot damp towel over my face. I pour only a dime-sized amount of oil on my hands and rub it with my fingers. This is all I need. I then massage the oil through my beard beginning by my ears and working it down toward my neck. As I rub the oil on my face, I can feel the beard noticeably softening. The lemon scent of the oil is subtle, definitely not as strong as I expected. While it is nice that the scent is not overwhelming and I am used to unscented preshave oil if any, I think that it would be nice if the oil were slightly stronger The scent is very good and I think it is important to highlight it during the pleasant aroma during this step.

The product does leave your face feel fresh but it takes too long to mix and apply relative to shave gel.
