This food smells lovely. My dog loves it and he lost about 3 pounds when we start give it.His fur looks shiny.

I liked the quality of the ingredients and my dog loved to eat the dry biscuits. She was happy after meals and did not make her itch ,like other brands I've tried. It also came out the other end ok lol .

My dog immediately liked this food ,he's a Dalmatian so I have to be careful what I feed him.The first thing I noticed was the portion size compared to his usual food was much bigger,something I found strange as its for weight management, however after around 2-3 weeks of being on the food completely he did look a bit leaner. The 1 negative I have and making me question as to if I will continue to feed him this food is the fact they put corn gluten meal in ,corn is one of the most common food allergens for dogs and cats .This could cause stomach upset ,vomiting and diarrhea .nutritional deficiencies and weightless.My dog has been absolutely fine on this food and has become leaner so it does exactly what it says it will,he definitely liked the taste .The price is around the same as the food I was giving him prior so will I buy this again? Maybe if only to mix with his normal food to help maintain a healthy weight .

Hi, I highly recommend Hill’s science plan for perfect weight for large dogs. We have an 8 year old golden Labrador who loves her food. The round, flat dry kibble has quality protein in the chicken. Energy rich carbs and fats. Vitamin E for a healthy skin and coat. Her weight has to be watched carefully and food controlled as she will over eat. Her weight is just under 30kg and the recommended weighed measure of kibble is 395g. A 12kg bag = 30days. We weigh her food every morning and she is given it in smaller meals through out the day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Snack. All goes down with a wag of the tail. Plenty of water to drink.

James has absolutely loved eating this since it came other dog foods have not agreed with him this is perfect no issues whatsoever, he has maintained weight really well on this food cannot complain will continue using this brand for his diet as his weight and coat are better and brilliant,

My 37kg staffy cross is a fussy eater and wasn’t sure at first so I mixed it until he was use to it . He really enjoys it now and it had left his coat shining

My dog appears to love it, he has eaten it in a matter of seconds. The vet says that he has lost weight which is good. Over all very happy with the product.

I was a bit sceptical at start to be changing my dogs food. Molly (6yrs old Dalmatian) has been on the taylored dry food for years to help her keep healthy weight and manage digestion problems, the downside was producing more smell from the skin (food itself was not of most enjoyable smell either). Hill’s dog food actually smells nice for a change! My dog is very much attracted by it and cannot wait for the next portion. She has stopped having any digestion problems at all which is a massive surprise and a benefit and lost producing bad odour from the skin. She is having bigger portions of food comparing to our previous brand (which I’m sure she enjoys) yet still managing the weight accordingly. Highly recommended to all dog owners!

This food was pretty good, left my dogs coat shiny, weight didn’t change too much but it went down. All in all happy with the product

My 2 year old labrador loves food. The hill's science plan perfect weight (large breed) was actually recommended to us by our vet. When home tester club had it to test i was very excited to try it out for our 2 year old lab. We got her weighed at the vets before testing and we have used the product every day. We got our lab re-weighed and she has lost weight. So we now order the same hill's dog food from the vets. I am very happy with the product and thankyou for letting us test it.

First of all we found it difficult to get our dog to eat the new menu but I persevered and after two weeks he was enjoying g the food. We found him less hungry, so less begging and tried not to feed him off plan. He has recently gone for jabs and my vet was very impressed that my dog was at ideal weight for his age and breed. He was always a fussy dog and I would need to change his food all the time but he enjoys this food. Only taken 5 years to find correct one.

I carefully measured the food and she was really hangry whilst on the diet, she didn’t loose as much weight as I hoped, but I will buy more food in the spring when I can get her outside for more of the day for exercise, on the whole it works with more exercise, winter might not be the best time to do this as she tends to not want to be out in the wind and rain.
