I used the food as a topper for my dogs regular food. She seemed to enjoy it, chicken is her favorite thing. The product is very dry as you would expect so I feel mixing with your dog's food would be the best way to use. It has a lot of quality ingredients and should provide excellent nutrition. I typically cook down bones for broth to use on the food but this will be an easier alternative to provide the same nutritional benefits.

I received the Acana Meal Toppers and my dog Beat absolutely loved it! He picked through his food and ate the Acana Topper first! The packaging was nice with a good closure. I would definitely recommend this brand and this version of food!

Both dogs were begging for more of these delicious patties. They are perfectly proportioned for a balanced meal. They are ready to go and can be brought on the go. I would definitely recommend this healthy meal for any type of dog. I also like the resealable package.

I am a mom of chihuahuas and everyone know they are the finickiest of all ! They love Acana. The product design and packaging make it a win for me. Round easy to serve cookies that are easy to crumble over current food or add liquid to make wet food. The smell ( I have the chicken flavor) is a little pungent but they do not seem to mind. It is a crowd pleaser

This comes in patties that you can add water to or just put it on their food or give it to them as is. I will say that Divo loves it! Actually he is absolutely crazy about it! My only issue with this freeze dried food is that it is in patties, which is great. But the bag I received had several patties, but then a lot of them had crumbled and were in very small pieces or dust. While I love the bag they came in I'm not so sure it's the greatest way to package it. I would prefer to have the patties stay in their form. I'm knocking off a star, only for the packaging. I'm not sure how they could alleviate this issue but I would 100 keep buying this if it would stay in the patty form and not half a bag of crumbs and dust. Otherwise the food itself is amazing! I love the high protein content!

Our new adopted pit bull Olivia was spoiled at the rescue and we continued on mixing her dry food with wet food twice a day. Wasn’t sure how she’d feel about topping her dry food with this but she absolutely loves it!

The dogs love this freeze dried topper and eat it both crumbled dry and wet. It seems to be a good product. I would prefer the chickens were free range instead of just free run.

I know our pup loves this product. I can’t say how tasty it is as I’m not trying it but from our Rottie’s response to it, 5 stars!! It’s expensive for what you get but it has such a good percentage of actual protein and fat that it makes the purchase worthy.

These are very easy to make, just add some water and mush it all up. They smell pretty good too. My digs will eat them wet or dry! Definitely nice to have!!
