Layers Probiotic Serum

I absolutely loved this creamy serum and loved integrating this into my nightly routine.

I’ve been using the serum in combination with an aveeno moisturizer for 1 week and It’s helping me with the loss of firmness and boosting radiance. I also feel that my skin is smoother, the size of my pores have decreased and I have better skin days overall. This is a new must have in my skin care routine.

I love the container so the item doesn't get bacteria. The scent is light and not overpowering. I use it on it's own on no make-up days. Love it!

I’m always looking for good serums and this one was nice! It smelled good and left my skin oh so soft! I did have to pace myself as I started breaking out using this daily so maybe every other day is a good routine!

I enjoyed using the Layers Probiotic Serum. It's a rich cream that quickly sinks into the skin. I liked that my skin was hydrated, bright, luminous and plump.

I really like this product. It has a gel like feel to it when applied. I use it 4 times a week at night. It has a little sticky feel to it but it did not leave any stains on my pillow. Noticed a slight difference in my skin after the first use. My skin appeared to be more moisturized and “plumber”. I use it as directed, I think this one might be a permanent addition to my skin routine.

Upon receiving the full size Layers concentrated probiotic serum, compliments of Home Tester Club, I instantly noticed the simple modern signature packing that immediately signaled the high quality of the contents. The probiotic serum bottle mirrored the packaging in which it rested. This luxury serum has a nice consistency and a citrusy scent. After using the product for a period of three weeks both morning and night, smoother, firmer and much brighter skin became evident. The reduction of the appearance of pores and those fine lines was a welcome sight. Most of all, I was happy to see and feel much firmer and lifted skin. No more saggy jaws! I love the idea behind this serum and I think it was helpful for my facial skin microbiome (I think?) and definitely increased how plump and hydrated my skin looked. BUT I ran into a huge issue, which is the fragrance in the product. I'm not sure if they were trying to mask some sort of yogurt-y smell the probiotic elements generate but the fragrance is super strong and smells very cheap, not very elegant. It lingers for a while, making the experience of applying the product unappealing. The best way I can describe the scent is like the cheap shampoo, like what you find in an Airbnb when you're traveling. Maybe a hint of watermelon in there, which just reads to me as sort of juvenile and doesn't jive with the packaging of the product (which is very chic), the brand aesthetic or the price point. If the scent is improved, I'd definitely consider purchasing but probably would avoid otherwise.

I like this product. You use it overnight, and by morning your skin is nice and moisturized and seems plumper and tiny fine lines have disappeared. Seems to absorb very well.

Easy to blend in and made my face pretty soft after I took it off

First and foremost I love the fact that this is cruelty free and vegan. More products should incorporate plant-based ingredients. Secondly, this actually works. An issue with some plant-based skincare products is that they aren't potent enough to work as they should. This is the complete opposite. The first time I tried it I could already feel the difference, my skin didn't dry out or feel heavy. It was actually really light and I felt my skin could breathe. It also felt very smooth, I could see the difference as well, my skin looked more even toned. This is just a great product all around.
