This razor is the best razor I've used so far which is no mean feat seeing as I've been through a lot of razors over the years. The razor feels very luxurious with it'a metal part and feels nice and balanced in the hand. The handle is covered in a soft rubber that is very grippy. I can't stress enough the different it makes to shave using a razor that isn't just plastic! The blades allow for a really close shave and the flexible head with conditioning strips meant there were no nicks around the knees. My skin felt so smooth and moisturised after shaving. I'd reccomend this razor hands down!

First impressions were good. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to my expectations. It felt good in my hand. I didn’t like that you couldn’t see what the product was like through the packaging. However comparing to my normal razor of the competing brand there was nothing I liked better about the trial razor. The heavier handle just reminded me of a men’s razor, didn’t provide a better feel for me. I also leave mine hanging in the shower so I feel the gap and finish may not last as well either. The head literally just seemed like a men’s head with soap around it. Comparing to my husbands it was pretty much exactly that. Compared to my current razor the blades aren’t as far apart and are wider and I prefer the other. Not enough soap to not need something else and little too much curve on the sides to touch the soap before cutting.

This is a great looking razor, and I love the moisturing strip around it. Gentle enough for every day. However I found it didn't give as close a shave as a razor without the strips. It's also quite cold to hold in winter!

Extra smooth is not quite the word id use would be sleek I didn't even have to shave more than twice for the week was better than a wax without pa i n .

It’s great to see these companies coming away from plastics. Nice razor to use, heavier then the normal Venus razors which makes it nicer to use and more comfortable in the hand.

This is by far the best of the Gillette Venus razors that I have tried. The metal handle makes it so much easier to hold, and also makes it seem much higher quality and durable! I also love how all of these have interchangeable heads so it's so simple to replace them.

I trialled this and loved it. The metal handle gave it an edge above my normal razor. I liked the feel if it my hand and I got a fabulous smooth shave with no shaving cream required.
