Delicious hot chilli bean out of a can
The product is smoky and full of flavour. You can a amount of beans with loads of sauce, the chilli kick comes out at the end and before you can reach for a glass of water, sweetness from the tomato comes through and balance everything out

Hot Topic
I used the Heinz Hot Beanz as the base of a chilli con carne, just like the recipe on the back of the tin and it was so easy. The chilli taste was a little overpowering but the chilli lovers in the family absolutely loved it. There was no artificial taste, the ingredients tasted fresh and easily could identify what everything was in the can. The price was really great for such a versatile product.

Love it
So easy and simple but full of possibilities to use it. I made it as a side dish but it will be great with mince meat as well. Got a nice kick. I was expecting it be more runny but it was thick and full of flavour.

Chilli Beans

Not too hot
They're alright. Pleasantly surprised, they made a good base to build on to make rice and beans. I'd buy them again if I wanted a pre-spiced base, though usually we make from scratch. Not too hot, would say they were mild to medium according to our household, but every one is different.

Spice of life
Heinz Chilli Beans Hot is not blow your mouth of hot, so those that are worried, don’t be. I used them as a change to beans on toast and it was a great alternative. Could do with a little bit more sauce as they are quite dry otherwise. If you cooked up in a chilli con carne, you could add more fluid, plus the mince fat would help. I like a 4 bean mix and can eat them straight from the tin and these were just like a spicy version of them. I would buy again and try them in taco shells.

Not as hot
I liked the beans as the taste as freshly cooked. The consistency of the beans is perfect. The sauce is thick and dry and not spicy as I was expecting. Hard to mix with nachos as it makes the nachos dry in the oven

Good way to make some quick nachos
We used these for nachos and while the flavour was good it did become a little watery when heated up. It wasn’t overly spicy in our opinion. More closely resembles what we would cook as chilli con carne without the meat.

OK but a bit sweet
Can was easy to find on the shelf at Coles - stood out well from other similar items. Decided to serve this with a slice of toast and some fresh basil for a quick lunch. Heated quickly in the microwave and smelt delicious. Good selection of beans in the product, however the flavour was not what I would call "Hot" but perhaps it would be hot enough for some. Also found the beans to be strangely sweet - not a dark sugar or molasis sweet, more like white sugar. Over all I don't think I would purchase this again, but lovely to try new things.
