Tefal Pro Express Vision GV9812

After reading about this product i was very excited to try it and it didn't disappoint. I have tried it on different types of fabric, using all heating settings and it does the job flawlessly. I am most happy about being able to reduce creases on the clothes that are sheer and of thin fabric, like silk, which i was reluctant to iron otherwise. Very happy with being able also to use the steam in an upright position and steam and reduce creasing in items that just need refreshing. Very powerful steam and good size base. And the LED light makes it easy to get a perfect finish, highlighting every little crease. I would recommend this item.

It gave a flawless ironing result. The 3 settings were really easy to use and the steam it produced worked really well unlike other Irons I have tried. The LED is a great idea to see clearer the creases on the product you are ironing. The water tank is large so can be used for a long period without keep having to refill. This iron is great for large batches of ironing getting even the most difficult creases out. If there was a negative it would be the length of the cord being too short and hard to store the cord away after each use.

I'm the happiest I've ever been with ironing results. Some shirts are completely creaseless & some other, thicker ones, are semi-creaseless. Even with the magnificent steam power, it's not perfect. However, so much powerful steam at your fingertips is such a help! I used this iron flat & vertically & there was no power loss. It's light as the water is stored on the base. The light actually really helps! It beeps when it's ready and when it's out of water, fab. The anti-calc function allows you to use normal tap water and not seize up your iron. All the buttons are right where you need them & the glide of the iron is like silk. Cons: It's huge. Expect it to take up a chunk of your ironing board. It's super expensive, however, if you have lots of heavy duty ironing to do, this will ease your pain. The instructions are just a set of pictures with no words,; frustrating. The main cable is on the side where you're working & gets in the way. Overall, I'm really happy with its performance.

Really easy to use, removes creases easily and not to heavy. Easy to control the heat and the perfect amount of steam. This iron glides across items and effortlessly removes creases. Performs well on a variety of fabrics. I found that it heats up quickly. Not the largest water tank but lasted for the items I need to iron. Only downfall is I wish it had a longer electric cord.

This is an excellent iron! The steam part of the system where it draws water from is quite big, but it does a great job both steaming and ironing

Initially the GV9812 Pro Express Vision is more complicated than a conventional iron. That being said the results are worth it. The main thing I like about the GV9812 Pro Express Vision is that it can be used as a steamer so you can steam your clothes without needing to use an ironing board. The results are really excellent. I steamed a shirt and it looked as it it had been perfectly ironed. One slight issue though is that, if you are not careful, you can accidentally send a blast of steam when picking up the iron. Overall though this is a very good iron and well worth spending the time to understand.

The GV9812 Pro Express Vision model is a high pressure steam generator iron. Initial thoughts on the design are that the model is not as bulky as I expected and the unit is surprisingly light. The whole unit feels very solid and the water tank is easy to clip in and out making it simple to use from the get go. I tested the iron out on both formal shirts and heavier denim fabrics and the iron did exceptionally well, I really appreciated the light feature as it was helpful flagging small creases I missed around collars and the arms of the shirts. There are three simple temp settings and each performed really well, overall I was really pleased with how quickly I completed my ironing pile and the light feature proved to be very useful. Great iron, easy to use out of the box and not too bulky to store.

Absolutely love this iron. It has a great compact design and is super easy to use. I've found that it works well in all modes and because of the lightweight iron, it doesn't become cumbersome to use if I have lots of ironing to do. The boost setting is brilliant and the water reservoir is a good size. All in all really pleased with this product

This really did make light work of ironing, I for one hate ironing its a chore and something I usually find hard work but this made it so much easier I got through the ironing in no time. Originally I was quite surprised at how quickly the water ran out, I then I realised that this was due to the amount of steam the iron is producing which is far more than my previous iron, the best bit is when I looked at the clothes every single crease was out with minimum effort. When I used to iron Jeans for example I would have to go over them 2 or 3 times to remove all the crease lines this removed all creases first time and glides over the clothes. There is a Smart button to click which prevents from burning different fabrics which is good. It's light weight for its size and packs away tidily without taking up too much room. If you let the water completely run out when refilling you have to wait for the iron to reheat but if you refill the before it runs out it just continues without reheating.

This is the best iron I have used. It glides over clothes and a fantastic amount of steam is supplied by the generator. The controls are easy to use. It gives a professional finish and cuts my ironing time down my half. I would highly recommend!

This iron is just the bomb!! I have piles of ironing every week which on average takes up to 2 hours each day, 3-4 days a week to complete. This TEFAL iron has cut my ironing time down by half. It now takes me 10minutes to iron a king sized duvet cover whereas with the old iron it took me 20minutes. The iron plate is so smooth that it glides over the clothes. The water dispenser is large enough to take close to a litre of water which cuts down filling time. The steam is powerful enough that you only have to press an item once for the creases to disappear. In addition to flat ironing, the steam is powerful enough to use on jackets and coats whilst they’re on hangers. Thank you TEFAL for this. I now have time to relax!

Excellent steam generator iron by Tefal. The Iron itself is lightweight when using and has a handy light at the tip of the iron which comes in quite useful to see extra creases when I’m ironing at night. The boost button makes it more powerful which I’ve used on several linen items which had stubborn creases. The water tank is a decent size and easy to refill if needed, would recommend.

Having been a Tefal iron lover for quite a few years I was excited to try an upgraded model. My last iron was a plug in and use with no technical extras, which I loved, so to get an iron with a number of options included meant that I needed the instructions. On first use I was pleased with the ease. It is a big iron but the base can rest underneath the ironing board as the iron can rest on it’s rear. There is a bright light that shines onto your clothes as you iron, this brings creases to your attention and enables you to see what good work the iron is doing. This iron removes creases with one or two moves which makes ironing so much quicker and you can steam iron clothes as they hang, my pleated dresses now look as good as new. Using the steam on woollen clothes caused a few additional creases but these were easily fixed with careful use. I highly recommend this iron, you will not be disappointed- instructions of how to store the cable correctly around the base would be a bonus.

GV9812 Pro Express Vision is a really easy way to get through the piles of ironing. It really speeds things up. It does a fabulous professional job while saving time. The steam bursts are powerful. The press can also be used while your clothing is on the hanger just to freshen up before you wear. Ideal if like me you are in a rush and have to present looking smart at work. It also lights up if you are using it on an irroning board. This helps you to see exactly what needs to be done. It is easy to stire away but it us never long before it is back out again and in use. I have used a mini press and varioys other steamers but this one just makes life a bit easier a d certainly saves me time.
