What I like: The coffee machine feels modern, I like the interface and the led lighting system. I also like the sleek look and the small footprint it has on the counter. It is quiet compared to other machines when grounding coffee. The coffee tastes good. What I don't like: The milk frother froths the milk too fast which makes me have to pre-warm the milk in the microwave. The milk frother is not easy to clean. The ground coffee recipient is not dishwasher friendly. I would like it if there was a fully automated accessory for milk you could buy and there was a latte button

I received the product damaged, but sorted out finally. It is so easy to prepare coffee in the morning and the smell of roasted beans it is incredible. It has everything that should a coffee machine have. From gradual levels of grinding, to the intensity of coffee to auto cleaning l, the system is super easy. The coffee is tasty and the milk steamer easy to use, as well.

I love my new coffee machine. My mornings start better since I use KRUPS Intuition Essential coffee machine. I love freshly made coffee. This machine knows exactly how I love my coffee. The touch panel is so easy and effortless to use. Krups makes the best cappuccino with a healthiest home-made frothy milk. The self-cleaning program is one of the best functions. KRUPS Intuition Essential’s minimalist design fits well with the design of my kitchen. This is the best coffee machine.

Having experienced an equally priced bean to cup coffee machine, I am very surprised at the noticeable difference in the quality of the coffee. We have always bought quality beans so expectations are high when it comes to flavour. The Krups machine delivers as coffee second to none. It has a large water tank, large waste pod draw, puts out hot coffee and simple to operate coffee options. Only negative for me is the frothing of the milk if you with to make latte etc. I prefer to just connect the milk container, select milk and press go as with my old machine. Would I sacrifice the better flavour coffee for easier milk option, well I'll have to see over the coming months of daily use if I get tired of frothing. The machine is a very modern design and sits well on the kitchen worktop not being to big just the perfect size. Easy to keep clean and no shiny chrome looking parts to scratch or wear easily.

We've been considering upgrading from a grind to brew coffee machine to a bean to cup machine for a while and now that we have this machine, I wish we had done it sooner! My husband and I have differing tastes in coffee - he likes a black americano whilst I much prefer a latte - and this machine allows us to make both quickly and easily. Whilst learning how to froth the milk did take a little bit of time, once you've got the knack it is so simple! The warning lights for when the machine is out of water/coffee beans or when the drip tray/coffee grinds need emptying are so helpful. I love that if the water runs out during the making process it continues making your drink when you fill the water so you aren't left with a half made undrinkable cup. I would definitely recommend this for lovers of coffee, the bean hopper holds a standard 227g bag so you don't have to use lots of coffee before swapping to a different blend which is perfect for when you're trying out different brands.

I was very excited to receive the coffee maker and put it through its paces so quickly unpacked and set it up according to the instruction manual. I pressed the appropriate button and couldn’t get it to work but my husband ran the cleaning programme and after that it worked perfectly. I don’t know if I got a rogue machine as I spoke with an engineer from Krups who said they hadn’t come across that before so if anyone buys one they might need to do what we did and run the water through first without making coffee. Since then it has worked perfectly and produces lovely coffee in double quick time The machine has a large water tank so doesn’t need to be constantly refilled. Since the initial teething problem, I am really impressed and as it is so easy to use, I find I’m drinking more coffee than usual. There are a variety of choices of coffee and you can choose the strength of the coffee and there is also a nozzle to steam milk to make a frothy latte or cappuccino.

This is really an excellent coffee machine. Sleek in design, glossy and shiny black with bright white-light LEDs behind the function icons, it is a very smart addition to the kitchen. They claim it is intuitive to use and it really is. The control panel is not complicated to understand and the touch-sensitive icons are great. The machine is compact yet has a much larger water chamber than a previous coffee machine I owned, which is great since I don't want to have to refill the water constantly. The machine has a very straightforward cleaning process, which is advised a few times a year, but I would have thought it better to have the machine also rinse through every time it turns on and off, to get rid of coffee in the pipes. However, you can opt to do that manually when you like. One other thing is that the drip tray at the bottom isn't made of the most robust plastic, but that's a small point and it's fine. All in all, I love the machine. Thoroughly recommend it.

It took a while to get used to, we found the instructions not incredibly clear at first, specifically the "what parts do what" piece of the document. That all said, once we got a feel for it, we found it to be an incredibly intuitive and efficient machine. It comes apart easily to clean and replace, and all parts function well as needed. The fineness of the grind being customizable is also a fun feature, as we've tried the machine with a number of different beans and roasts to success. The options available on the machine are minimal, but effective. Three different coffee options (Ristretto, Espresso, Long Drink) keep things direct. This machine won't mix your complicated Starbucks order for you, but will provide you with all the tools you need to optimise your coffee. Strength, volume, steamer time are all customisable. The Steamer is effective, and aggressive; one of the best ones I've used in a home set up. It is, however, a little slow to charge up.

The coffee machine turned out to be a great addition to my kitchen. The morning coffee routine never been easier - you are able to personalise your choice and save it for the next time. Easy to clean and appears that maintenance won't be a struggle either. The appliance fits on a standard kitchen counter and does not take up much space, which is amazing when you have a smaller space. The water pressure is adequate and flashing lights gives an intuitive touch. I'm very glad to receive this product for a test, however the retail price is way overpriced.
