Tefal Easy Fry Max Java Pepper

This is a really great air fryer, I've been looking forward to trying it.. Over the past week I have cooked so many different meals in it. The pre-set programs make it super easy to use and adjust accordingly. Everything from fresh chicken, veggies, homemade chips, carrots, a whole chicken, to frozen foods like nuggets, fish fingers, garlic bread, oriental snacks, sausages salmon. it does everything. With no pe-heat time, you cook and go in a fraction of the time. Even my chef husband was impressed! A lot of foods came out better than they do in the oven - crispier and more tender and less dry. Cant wait to experiment with more. So quick and easy and just pop it in the dishwasher!

The Tefal Easy Fry Max has a nice sleek grey design and would look good on any kitchen counter. I made chips with potatoes from scratch and they came out nice and crispy. I also made kebabs with mince and they came out succulent and half the time it would take in the oven. I cooked burgers, cod in batter, bacon, fish fingers, and oven chips which all were cooked perfectly. The only thing I would say about the Easy Fry Max Fryer is you have to select one of the cooking modes to cook and adjust it up and down and select temperature for the temperature, there should be the plus and minus and the temperature setting separately from the cooking modes so you can adjust the temperature and cooking times accordingly.

Recently our oven broke & the first thing people said was haven't you got an air fryer! Like that the tray removes for easy cleaning, like the colour of the outside but don't like the chalky finish as the first time you touch it with greasy hands it leaves marks everywhere. Cooking wise I was amazed at how well & quickly it cooked frozen breaded products like crisp bakes or fishcakes which are ideal for a quick grab tea but take too long in an oven from frozen. Didn't feel confident enough to mix different types of products in the same basket so it felt stupid using for chips when the oven needed to be on to cook the pie, etc. Pleased that lots more companies are adding cooking instructions for air fryers to their product packaging. Having used a few more times I am getting to the point where I feel I can be more adventurous with combination dishes and really want to try the cheesy nachos & quesadillas although demonstration videos show that the first could get very messy to dish up!

I absolutely love this air fryer! It’s super easy to use! It’s really easy to clean after too. The speed in which it cooks an item is much quicker and a lot less greasy too due to being cooked on a grilled plate. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an air fryer. As a family of 4 this is a perfect size for us!

I have had this for a week or so and have used it a couple of time. First week tried the sweet potato fries recipe which come with the downloadable recipe book. These were lovely but if not cooking a full load keep an eye on the time. Secondly I tried a frozen jacket potato, this was 30 mins crispy on the outside and beautifully fluffy in the middle. Great that the basket and inner trivet are dishwasher safe. Book that comes with it needs to be larger print . But all in all very happy with it.

Brilliant item cooks food quickly and very cheaply i have cooked a leg of lamb chicken and pork joint and i cook bacon in my Easyfry everyday, The cooking is half the time it takes in the oven so its brilliant on your electricity buy now superb cooker. It is also very quiet and dosent take up much space and is so easy to clean.

I found that this product not only looks nice but it is also a good appliance to have in the household. The food that I have tested in the machine cooks well. The times that come under the preset options are ok, some need adjusting depending on the volume of food used inside. The taste of the food is also very nice the whole household has enjoyed each meal that’s been cooked by this product. The amount of space you have to cook inside is great, it can indeed cook a whole chicken. The product also cleans up well which is greatly appreciated. I like the fact that once you open the drawer while cooking it stops/pauses the machine until you place it back. The only two things that I would say that needs looking into for improving are the drawer as pushing it back in can get a bit jammed at times with alignment and also the display screen being face-up. It’s harder to see when it’s on a counter surface especially if you not a tall person. Overall this product has been a very good experience.

This is a good quality air fryer. It is easy to use , however had to read through the instructions booklet. The instructions are clear, though some technical bits were missing. The capacity is 5 litres, so good enough for a small family. The wattage of the unit is 1550 W. The display is at the top of the unit and one has to select a cooking mode before customising the temperature and time interval. Cooking was even and the food came out properly cooked.

The Tefal Air fryer is such a nice piece of kit. It has a lovely aesthetic appeal for a kitchen gadget! The smooth finish and easy-to-use digital display make for an attractive bit of kit to sit out on my worktop. The air fryer drawer itself is large enough to cook the 'sides' of a meal for my family (myself and two children), it is easy to clean (essential when you have a family!) and is so easy to use that my teenage daughters were even able to work it out. All in all, it's a brilliant piece of equipment that I would (and do!) absolutely recommend to anyone who will listen!

This airfryer is sleek and stylish, the colour matches my kitchen extremely well. Upon opening it came with a digital recipe book and easy to read instructions on how to use the product. I set it up and got to air-frying! It is large enough to feed the people in my household and does cook a lot quicker than the oven and doesn't need pre heating which is a bonus. You have to learn which settings you need but the pictures on the top help massively with this. You can open the drawer any time during the cooking process to check on how its going or give the food inside a shake to get a more even cook. The only con I have for this, is that it tends to dry out the food inside a little bit. Not much but a noticeable difference from cooking in the oven. I would recommend this air fryer and it is a great addition to my kitchen.

If, like me, you kept putting off buying an air fryer because “what’s the point if I already have an oven?” then this review is for you. I get it, change is scary. You’ve been used to that big old oven that takes forever to preheat and has to use enough energy to heat up the entire thing even though you only want to cook a few chips. But, let me tell you, this thing is a game changer for home cooking meals. It’s quick, easy with a bunch of pre-made settings for your typical things like chicken, chips, veggies, fish etc, and as a person living alone, far more convenient and cost effective than using the oven. Not to mention, the cooking process is super healthy as little to no oil is needed (depending on what you’re cooking) and it uses AIR to fry/cook your food. Don’t ask me what the science is behind it, all I know is it works, and works to perfection. Also, this thing is SO easy to clean. Just pop the tray out to wash in the sink, give the bowl a wipe, and job done.

I was super surprised by its performance. The quick frying and baking capabilities truly stood out, significantly reducing cooking times compared to oven for example. For instance, pre-cooked rolls took half the time in the Easy Fry Max. The fries turned out deliciously inside, and crispy on the outside. Preparing chips, chicken or veggies was never so easy before. Just use preset program, choose time and press start. Device will let you know with sound when meal is ready. Unlike some other kitchen appliances that can produce disruptive noise during use, this air fryer maintains a surprisingly low noise level. I wish, that Air Fryer have a second drawer. It would be more convenient to have the option to cook fries and chicken simultaneously, especially when preparing meals more people.

From a visual perspective, this Tefal Easy Fry Max sits well in the Kitchen with its sleek design. It very simple to use with its visual display of functions for things like cooking chips, Salmon fillet and pizza. The cooking tray is more than adequate for a family of six when cooking fries or chips and it is very easy to clean with hot water and washing up liquid. However, it does take a bit of trial and error finding the right cooking time if you are cooking for less people. Chips come out beautifully and you wouldn't know it was done in an air fry. Roasties are fab too. I will definitely be recommending this product to my family and friends.

This air fryer is good but didn’t blow me away. Instructions are simple enough and the drawer has a good capacity but I did find that despite many times of shaking and turning the good some food was burning on the top and some food was undercooked. As long as I kept an eye on it I was fairly happy with the results.
