I have never used one before and I won't go back to my old one ever. Excellent generator and amazing steam output

Its impressive, nicely coloured & the design looks great. the instruction sheet is only pictures and very few words so not the best for a device that has a number of levers, buttons, controls. It was quick to heat up and ironing was easy with so much steam being generated. The light is useful in poor lighting situations. Did not like the vertical steam function as spat droplets of water onto the garment. The iron dominated my ironing board with its size and actually felt too large to have on the end with fear of maybe knocking it off. As this unit is in two parts and the water is pumped through the cord to the iron, it makes the cord a lot thicker than normal and more cumbersome to handle. After use storage – you need to have more space in your storage area as its big compared to a normal iron. There is also no convenient way of storing the two cords either. Overall, it gives very good results but its size and lack of cord storage lets its down.

After having received the tefal product put to use almost straight away. Felt like the instructions for use need to be a bit clearer as they were for two different types of products. The product iron itself was very smooth when using it which felt very nice. The fact it holds a good amount of water means you can use the steam button a lot and not have to worry about running out. Overall really good iron and would recommend. Took 1 star off for the usability of the instructions that were provided as feel, with any product, that instructions are pretty important to get full use of anything. Also think it is a little overpriced, wouldn't personally purchase unless was on offer.

I’ve enjoyed this iron. Let’s face facts it is big and bulkier than the sort of iron I’m used to using but it is efficient and works well. I was able to poke through a massive pile of our holiday clothes quickly with great results.

Its a great product, specially for someone who prefers to iron in bulk weekly. Its easy and comfortable to use. If the noise during the release of the steam could be reduced it would be even more fantastic. Overall amazing product!!

Great iron that allows me to get through all of my husband’s shirts, my dresses and kids’ clothes in no time. Super efficient at getting everything looking crisp and it has reduced my time ironing each week substantially! Would highly recommend

Love this iron. Steam pressure is great but be careful hands aren’t too close. It’s easy to handle and gets through the ironing in no time. Absolutely love it.

The product looked a bit technical at first but once we figured out how to use it it was perfect. We liked the fact that you don’t have to change the temperature for different materials, the led light is a good feature as it highlights the creases, the locking mechanism is a great tool especially if you have small children around. The water vessel holds plenty of water. It is a bit larger than I would like so you need to have somewhere to store it, but that is the minor issue.

This makes light work of my huge pile of ironing. I'm so impressed. Huge water tank means you can keep going and it gives a professional finish. It's comfortable to hold I particularly love the vertical steam function for doing my curtains. Would definitely recommend if you do lots of ironing.

This is one off the best irons i have ever used. Very powerful. Gets creases out off clothing in seconds. Has taken hours off my ironing time. Just wizzes through.

I would say in simple words it helps to get ironing done easily and quickly. It heats up in a minute and water filler tank is quite big, I did the clothes of my whole family in one hour or so and didn’t need to fill the tank again. Program setting is quite easy to understand and change as required. Best thing I liked is it too quite and not noisy at all. I literally checked if it’s on. Other thing that I noticed is that it doesn’t get the creases out very well when on eco mode and mostly I use normal mode. Other that it’s perfect.

I cannot believe I have been using a standard iron all my ‘ironing’ life. The Tefal express make the job so much easier, and also quicker. I was taken aback by how this iron managed delicate items with a breeze. A friend of mine swore by steam generator irons for years and now I know why. Thankfully I do have an iron board able to hold my steam generator safely, but that will always be a consideration whenever I need to replace my current iron board.

It is my first steam generator and I am in love already. It is a bigger appliance than simple ironing machine but so worth the space. Because the water "tank" is separate the ironing with steam generator is less tiring as the equipment is lighter. Moreover it moves so smoothly that the ironing might not be a necessary chore any more but real pleasure.

Once we worked out how to use the iron as the instruction were just picture guides we were amazed how efficient the iron was. Ironing is not a chore I like and try to leave it to someone else but I found this steam iron powerful and easy to use, leaving all materials flat and crease free. The soleplate reduces the effort needed and glided across the materials we used it on. Would I buy it again in the future definite yes.

The water tank is large and easy to fill. It heats up extremely quickly and is ready to use within seconds.No shiny marks left.The iron itself is very light, so no aching wrist after multiple loads of laundry have been ironed. A lovely product and I would certainly recommend this to family and friends.
