TEFAL Optigrill+ & Baking Tray GC715D40

Very satisfied with this grill, easy to use and easy the fact that the plates both slide off with ease makes it easy to keep clean too! Have made steak and burgers and other half (working from home 4 days a week) has been benefiting from the best toasties of his life since we got this to test! Makes gauging how well cooked things are so simple (especially for someone that usually worries). One thing I would perhaps say is the instructions could maybe be a little more simple in the little book. I struggled to find what setting to put the toastie on but after a quick Google read it has been replaced with the bacon setting. Have recommended to all my friends and family and will continue to use. Much more economical on the power which today, is certainly important for a lot of households!

This is really easy to clean and super non-stick so makes it quick and easy to eat healthy food. We’ve done grilled vegetables and chicken, steak and sausages. So far I’ve only used the baking tray attachment to heat croissants.

Fantastic multi-grill, easy to use, takes the guess work out of grilling and cooks to perfection. Love the baking accessory as it completely transforms it from a grill to an oven, you can bake all sorts in it from pies to lasagna. so easy to switch between the two as the base grill plate simply comes out and you slot the baking tray in. When using as a grill I find it easier to use automatic mode, you just select the program, press ok and it pre heats. When it's ready you hear some beeps and you just put the food in and press ok. The circle on the right changes colour to show you how the food is cooking, you just remove the food when it reaches the level you wish, for example medium. You have the option to use manual mode too, it's just a case of experimenting. I have had other multi-grills on the past, what I really like about this is the ease of cleaning, the grill bases remove easily and you can just pop them in the dishwasher. Healthy too as the fat drains into the tray.

It really changed cooking experience with this Tefal OptiGrill+ & Baking Tray. It has four temperature levels so allows to cook meats, fruits and vegetables. Baking tray allows to bake heat/reheat or brown. It’s so clever, it has built in automatic sensor cooking technology so it detects the item on a surface, reads their thickness and adjusts the temperature and cooking time automatically for perfect results. Also it can be adjusted manually, just as anybody prefers. It has 6 cooking programs: Burger, Chicken, Bacon, Sausage, Red Meat and Fish. Manual and Frozen food mode. Indicator light and beep system enables monitoring cooking just the way you like it. Also it dishwasher safe and non-stick so makes your life easier. Tefal definitely created great grill, it changed taste of food, time and effort in a kitchen, made it so much easier to cook. I absolutely love it and my other half always gets his steak just the way he likes it. Supper easy to clean and drip tray is great.

I didn't know that home grill can be that good. I hadn't very high expectations but I have been very impressed! I have made a grilled sandwiches. They tasted soooo good! I also made a dish in a baking tray. I thought that temperature will be too low to bake it properly. I wasn't right. My home made noodle baked was baked perfectly well. Highly recommended!!!!

I love cooking and spending time in the kitchen, especially when I am surrounded by good kitchen appliances :) I consider this grill to be such a device that improves my mood in the kitchen! I cooked on it for 3 weeks and I can't get stuck to anything. Healthy because no fat! Smart, because without looking for clocks and timers on the Internet, for example, for steaks. It's clean, because it has a fat tray and washes very quickly. It looks solid so I hope it will serve me for a long time. I recommend.

It really is a wonderful piece of kit. I find that Beef Burgers are cooked to perfection, Beef burgers should be cooked till the last setting Red. You can cook beef burgers less if you want to take a risk as some people like them more juicy, but reading up about cooking minced meat if it’s not fully cooked example medium, then bacteria may still be present. Sausages look a touch anemic when cooked but they are cooked fully ok, take off at the last setting Red. Steak cooks very well, just two things about cooking steak, if you like medium rare as I do you have to end the cooking between the yellow light and the orange light as there is no medium rare point on the auto settings, meaning remove the steak before orange sounds, yellow light rare and the orange light is medium. Also you find when cooking steak the auto settings doesn’t always allow you to rest a steak after it’s cooked because for instance if you like medium and the orange light chimes the steak is ready to eat straight

I really liked the look of the grill and it has a removable plate which is a must for easy cleaning. The 9 automatic programs setting are brilliant but can also be set manually. It does take up quite a lot of space on the kitchen worktop - but we can store it away in a cupboard when it is not being used. I don't think I will ever be using the oven-grill ever again. I like that this is an easy way to heat and grill food. Non-greasy bacon and sausages are a revelation. The grilled mackerel was excellent too. Would most certainly recommend

Great grill very easy to use and very helpful with sensors never over burn your food

A fantastic and versatile cooking tool. Suitable for a variety of different recipes and quick and easy to use. Lots of settings mean there is a bit of a learning curve to this but this device is capable of everything from baking to grilling and so is worth the learning time. It is sturdy however I find it is quite big and bulky for standard size kitchens and takes up a lot of space. Overall though, a fabulous product!

This is a great addition to the kitchen. No wasted time constantly checking cooking progress as with traditional cooking. Just switch the Optigrill on, select your desired setting, add your food if choice and away you go. The grill beeps when food is cooked.

Being a busy mum, the Tefal optigrill + & baking tray has simplied the way I cook. The grill itself is sturdy, compact and doesn't take too much room in the kitchen. I love the design and the easy to follow instructions. The colour system is quite easy to follow to help you decide on different stages such as preheat, ready, rare, medium and well done. The grill notifies at each stages with a beep. I used the grill to cook beef burger and chicken; each time I was amazed at how the technology in the grill assessed the thickness of the meat and worked out how long it needed to cook to reach each stages. The meat was cooked to perfection each time and tasted delicious. The baking tray is a great addition. Furthermore, the grill was very easy to clean. Overall I was very impressed with the optigrill, a great gadget to have for every kitchen. It is used to cook a wide variety of food not just meat. I look forward to cooking a variety of dishes with the optigrill. Highly recommended!

Love this piece of kitchen equipment! Havent stopped using since i got it, burgers, bacon, steak, sausages, paninis. All made and all came out great. Highly highly recommend.

After using the optigrill we decided that we had to make a permanent place on the kitchen worktop for this as we know its going to be used on a regular basis. Its best feature is its so easy to clean. Features are easy to use and really improved the quality of cooking. You can cook a variety of things on it, so reduces the number of appliances you use.

This is such a fab product and cooks the food wonderful! I decided to cook some steak and it left the meat tasting delicious, I usually fry my meat and sometimes it can come out a little tough but this grill left the meat so tender and delicious! I can’t wait to continue using this product for other dishes. Highly recommended and so easy to use and clean!
