The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% & Zinc 1%

4.6 5 0 703 703 Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is indicated to reduce the appearance of skin blemishes and congestion. A high 10% concentration of this vitamin is supported in the formula by zinc salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid to balance visible aspects of sebum activity. Contraindications: If topical Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid and/or Ethylated L-Ascorbic Acid) is used as part of skincare, it should be applied at alternate times with this formula (ideally Vitamin C in the PM and this formula in the AM). Otherwise, Niacinamide can affect integrity of the Vitamin C.

Amazing results
Haven’t been using for long but already notice the difference in my skin. My skin is a lot clearer and pores reduced. Use a couple of days a week after cleansing and before moisturiser. Affordable and affective.

Good but be careful
These products are good if used carefully and in small amounts once or twice a week . Due to the high ingredients if overused they can cause more problems than do good

Great for misbehaving skin :)
My skin is prone to breakouts - small pimples and whiteheads - due to perimenopause. This serum is great for targeting small areas of skin and clearing those misbehaving blemishes right up and quickly. Would defo recommend!

Cleared up my skin bumps
This is a staple of my routine! When I added it it helped clear up the little skin bumps I get as part of my acne. I find it helps slightly tighten my large pores and brightens my skin. A really good addition to your routine!

100% recommend it’s not expensive like a lot of brands it’s not oily and helps ur skin just after u put it on put not to little but not a lot of moisturiser on it’s cute and reusable I would purchase this agian and is good as a birthday gift or something

Go to for TOTM blemishes
My skin is generally clear and dry, but a few days a month I get small blemishes. This clears my skin and gets it going quickly, and I enjoy the high end/clinical feel of the packaging at a low price point.

Excellent
This has been a game changer. Brighten the skin and helps with congestion and redness. Use it after cleansing and before moisturiser. Be careful not to use alongside vitamin c serums.

Great serum
This is one of my favourite serums. After short time use you can see skin tone getting raven and red sports disappear. Serum needs to be followed by moisturiser. Then top it up with sun protection too. Highly recommended! And it’s budget friendly too.

I love my ordinary products
I have the whole products of ordinary but this is the best one out of all i love to leave it on my face for long time to hydrate it. I recommend it to all my family members and friends.

Not the best
Used this product for a long time after I had ran out of a similar serum. I tried many times to work with this serum but it kept on peeling whenever I’d put my moisturiser on. It may be just me but I haven’t resolved this issue yet.

Too thick, crystallises in bottle
I am a fan and regular user of The Ordinary products and wish I could like this serum. I have purchased it twice as I first though the hard crystals in the formula was a faulty bottle, but after repurchasing I realised that it’s just too thick and doesn’t last long enough before reacting inside of the bottle. I have found other niacinamide and zinc serums to not have this problem.

This works, just stay consistent!
This actually works but it’s important to stay consistent and use this for at least a few months (minimum of 5 days a week). I use this before bed as part of my nighttime skincare routine, and I use a moisturiser on top. It absorbs very well and does not irritate my skin (I avoid the under eye area). I have noticed a significant difference in my skin since using this, it has faded marks and gives a nice glow too. The best thing is the price, very affordable for the amount you get, it lasts ages!

Great with other cosmetics
spreads easily, does not make the skin greasy and blends with it immediately after application. It combines well with other cosmetics and works well under makeup, it does not reduce its durability and does not cause runoff. It smoothes the skin well and brightens it nicely. It didn't cause any irritation to me.

Great for hyperpigmentation and post-acne pigmentation
It is a great serum and works very well for reducing pigmentation in skin. I used it when i was suffering with acne and the post-acne marks used to disappear within 1 or 2 weeks. So it is very good for that.
