Bare Bones Mushroom and truffle sauce is an absolute winner for me, with great flavor and so very convenient and mess free in comparison to making mushroom sauce myself as I usually do. I got to enjoy it on a very good piece of well done steak with pan fried potatoes and mixed vegetables. The Bare Bones Mushroom with Truffle sauce was nice and smooth and a subtle sweetness that surprised and delighted my taste buds, there is a nice buttery scent and taste to it, as well as the mushroom and something else pleasant which I assume is the truffle, as I have never tried Truffles before. This will be changing now I have tasted it, and will be including the sauce in my future shops I really enjoyed the meal. On the vegetables and Potatoes the Bare Bones Mushroom with Truffle sauce is a sure winner with the kids as well having some on them really made eating them extra enjoyable. Do your self a solid and try some for yourself its very good and easy to expand your dinner times.

Usually when buying sauces like this I would just place them over a steak or a schnitzel, but after reading the product description I decided to try it in a risotto. By itself the sauce tasted rich and full of flavour, which made a really great addition to my mushroom risotto. The truffle flavour really made it a bit more special, and will get it again to try with some more dishes.

After purchasing steak for dinner, I thought it would be a great opportunity to test The Bare Bones Mushroom Sauce with Truffle. It was simple to use, just open the pouch, pop it into the fry pan after cooking your steak then stir until hot. The price point is a little high for a regular purchase but if I am looking to splash out and impress, I would absolutely purchase again. It was delicious and more so than others I have used before.

Bare Bones Mushroom Sauce With Truffle is perfect for dressing up family favourite meals that otherwise start to feel same-same. I used the sauce to dress sauteed mushrooms, zucchini, herbs, and a bit of tomato. Veggies and sauce then topped spaghetti with fresh shredded parmesan. The Bare Bones Mushroom sauce poured easily over the veggie blend and provided a nice warm flavour profile to this family favourite meal, but still felt perfect during warmer weather. I did not add salt beyond what was in the packaged sauce, but did add fresh ground black pepper, which I love. Pasta was served with a green summer salad. Leftovers tasted even better today. Will use this in summer and winter meals, and looking forward to new creative uses for the Bare Bones Mushroom sauce with Truffle.

First off, the product itself has a simple and clean label design. I like the fact that you can actually see what the sauce looks like before you buy it as visual appeal is important. It has an easy tare at the top of the pouch so no need to rummage through the kitchen drawer for scissors. I was hesitant to try as I'm not really a big fan of truffle but I was pleasantly surprised. I personally added extra mushrooms as I love them with my eye fillet steak! I really enjoyed this product and am keen to try out the other flavours.

This sauce is very nice with truffle. It tastes very smooth and creamy. It is better than the other mushroom sauce I bought before in the market. Highly recommended

The easiest way to add a little indulgent to your meals at home. This is by far the best shop bought sauce/gravy I’ve tasted. It has a great consistency and perfectly balanced flavour with earthiness and umaminess. Love how it’s only needed to be microwaved and ready in 60 seconds!

A pleasant flavour but lacking in a bit of something extra. It tastes nice, But needs more punch to it to make it stand out.
