F. Whitlock & Sons® Makhani Style Curry Baked Beans

These beans were easy to heat up in the microwave and added a fun flavour twist to our burritos! They tasted and smelled great! I want to try them in a curry next.

These are decent. Good flavour, nutritional content, and amount in the can. They're super convenient for when you just can't be bothered. Not cheap though!

am usually not a fan of Indian curry, I prefer the flavours of the Singaporean / Malaysian style of curries. However I don't mind the flavour of these beans, the reason being that there is hardly any curry flavours in it. Whatever flavour there is, is very mild. The sauce is very thick, 53% sauce / 47% beans, it is more a paste than a sauce. It probably good for serving on flat bread or something like that as it is not runny. However, the texture is like glue with not much beans or chickpeas. Finally, made in New Zealand from imported ingredients of unknown origin doesn't give me much assurance.

Too much curry powder in this for my liking I found it too hot

Great flavour for a quick and easy meal. I usually add it on steamed rice and sometimes add sausage to the sauce and it tastes great.

It had no taste to it, nothing special. It wasn’t unbearable though would go well if paired with other ingredients

Great packaging and good product. Tastes fresh just like mum used to make. Simply heat and add the ingredients and it’s ready within a matter of minutes. Served with rice is best
