Tefal SV8055 Steam Generator Iron

Ironing is no longer a chore! When I received my product, I was very impressed with its look. It just looked Sexy! It grabbed my attention.. I was sure to fully read the Instructions manual so I could familiarise myself with all the features and benefits. The iron itself it so light weight & those tough creases that take forever normally, gone in seconds.. I no longer had to worry about little burnt patches or leaving it on the clothing too long & oops, burnt it or oops, what's that white stuff.. gone are the days when It takes hours & I dread the ironing pile.. The results were immaculate! perfect crease free clothing, I had watched Wentworth prison at the same time and realised that my new product would now create ease and almost a relaxing environment for me, would free up extra time due to it being now so quick, easy and with better results! The days of dreading that pile, it getting bigger and bigger as I dread even starting it.. those days are gone! True value for money!

It took a little bit to get used to the basic settings on this iron I was worried the main setting would be too hot but it wasn’t. This iron is amazing, it cut my ironing time down by half. It’s quick and easy to use once you have the hang of it. I’ve attached mine to the wall with the bracket that comes with it which makes storing it easy too!

This is the best iron that I have ever used in my life. You can not find a better iron than this one. It is simply great in every way. I recommend this to you, go out and buy one because it makes ironing so easy and simple. You just can't get better than Tefal

As a family of 4, two working parents and two school age children who love to change their clothes my ironing pile is a mission. An iron must have things for me and the many hours I spend with it!!! Its lightweight, needs to be for the amount of time standing up and putting back down.. . Its handle is very comfy! However, the steam part can be a little loud... but tolerable... it's a fab iron, the pressure of the steam just got rid of the creases much quicker... I was nervous of the no settings on it. But it was absolutely fine... The only negative is its large with the base. And if like me you are limited on cupboard storage you need to make room, but it's worth it!!!!

We are a household of 9 which means a lot of washing and ironing and this has certainly cut down my ironing time. The iron was simple to use and fairly lightweight. I love that you could see and hear when the iron is ready to use. The large water tank is easy to fill and lasts for ages so no constant topping up. The plate is nice and smooth and glides across all fabrics without having to manually change the temperature. The steam in this iron is amazing! The boosts of steam can tackle all fabrics no matter how creased leaving your clothes crisp and smooth with little effort. The safety locking system is a great idea as it locks the iron onto the base when not in use and makes carrying the iron so much easier. I did leave the iron unattended and it had switched itself off (not something I normally do) but wanted to test this function and it worked perfectly. I live in a hard water area so the removable scale collector comes in so handy for keeping the iron clean. Fantastic iron!

As a single mum of 4 running my own business from home you can understand how busy it s at home. Ironing is one chore I dread. It’s so time consuming. Not with the Tefal Steam generator, it is such a nice feeling getting all the ironing done in less than an hour, no effort needed. I now spend less time ironing and I can have extra time with my little monkeys

Loved the iron, so much easier than my last iron and I get my ironing done in half the time as it gets the creases out really easily. I haven’t needed to use the max setting for the steam yet. It’s saves so much time not needing to have to the change setting for different fabrics. Would definitely recommend and don’t know how I lived without it.

The iron was really easy to use, and made easy work of my husbands thick shirts. Having just got back from holiday when the iron arrived I was fully able to test it with lots of different types of fabrics, and found myself pleasantly surprised that I wasn’t having to adjust the temperature as it was doing that for me. If your looking for a iron that cuts down on the time you iron, this is definitely for you!

This fantastic steam iron produces high pressure steam making ironing harsh creases out a breeze. The iron is easy to use and holds enough water to easily complete a large basket of ironing. The results are amazing.

I was delighted to receive this steam iron. The instructions were easy to understand and I found iron very easy to handle. I could not believe how easy it was to iron my husband's shirts and jeans. The iron glided over the clothes while the steam instantly got rid of stubborn creases. No longer will o have to use a hand spray to damp down clothes before ironing. Ironed a pile of clothes in a much shorter time and it was a pleasure to do so. I also love the bracket accompanying the iron so it can be stored easily. I am going to recommend it to all my friends. I loved using this tefal steam generator iron,I wish I had purchased one years ago.It made my ironing so much quicker and easier,getting the creases out of all my clothes. It worked on all materials including silk and denim.

Set up is quick and easy; plug in, fill the tank, turn on and you’re good to go! The lack of dials is quite odd but I had to have faith that the temperature would be correct. I live in a hard water area and have to descale appliances regularly. I love the descale feature on this iron, it’s genius and is so much easier than other types of descale filters I’ve had on previous irons. The plate is smooth, the boost delivered exactly what it shows on the box; jets of high pressured steam that sailed through my shirt with ease when I pressed the boost. It effortlessly irons and feels ergonomic in your hand. I didn’t need to boost iron as much as I have done with previous models. Halved ironing time and delivered excellent standard of ironing with all types of clothing and material. I’ve used this for two weeks now - whilst it remains to be seen how the appliance copes long term with the hard water in my area, it’s looking good so far. It really is a great product that I’d recommend.

with 3 children at home, I do spend a lot of time ironing, the Tefal SV8055 Steam Generator has halved the time I spend ironing, it takes away creases without any efforts, the water tank is large enough so I don't have to constantly top up the water, it is a bit larger than an average iron, so a bigger storage space is required, but it is totally worth it to me.

What an incredible iron, what wizardry is going on here? It's light weight, glides through creases and no need to choose a setting. A huge water tank that will give you a couple of hours ironing without needing to refill. It doesn't even feel like it's getting really hot but boy does it do it's job. I'm searching the house for more things to iron. Very very impressed.

I really don’t like ironing but this made it much more easier and pleasurable It is very smooth and easy to handle and the clothes come out with no creases I really did love this iron and would recommend it to anyone Brilliant
