John Frieda ULTRAFiller+ Thickening Shampoo

I found this shampoo to be quite good as far as giving some much needed volume goes. I used this shampoo with the conditioner and the thickening spray but I didn’t like how it made my hair look and feel when using it all together. When I just use the shampoo with a conditioner of my choice I find that it turns out much better. This thickening shampoo didn’t lather too much but it gives enough of a lather to make me feel like it’s moving throughout my hair. I think it cleans my hair and scalp well and it has a nice smell, not overly strong.

I was really hoping that this would help out my really thin hair, but it ended up making my hair feel gummy and weird. I suppose it did give me a little extra volume, but it wasn't enough to make me want to continue with it. I think it might be okay to use as a shampoo, if you used a really good conditioner afterwards.

I received the John Frieda Ultra filler+ shampoo, conditioner, and thickening spray to sample. I have really fine hair and often times shampoo, even it is it aimed for finer hair, is too heavy for my hair and leaves it greasy. This was awesome and I really felt like my hair had a lot of body after using it only one time. It smelled nice and I liked the packaging. I have been using it for a few weeks now and wash my hair every other or every couple of days. I am excited to continue using the ultra filler+ products and see how it improves my hair in the long run.

Overall, I liked this shampoo and when paired with the conditioner and thickening spray, noticed that it did make my hair look thicker. I styled my hair right after with a blow dry brush and that really helped make my lifeless hair plump and full. However, I did notice that it made my hair heavy and greasy after just a couple hours

I love the scent of this shampoo! It lathers well and made my hair feel clean and soft. It does appear to look thicker after a few washes which is nice! The bottle is a great size and will end up lasting me a long time!

I was a bit skeptical but this works surprisingly well. Lathers up great, rinses away cleanly, has a pleasant scent and left my hair feeling thicker, fuller and more manageable.

Does this give volume to my hair.... absolutely! 200% volume like it claims.....not so much. Having such fine and flat hair any volume is better than none. The shampoo cleanses my hair very well and it has a decent fragrance. It does contain sulfates so it does a deep clean. I find the set of 3 products (shampoo, conditioner, and volume spray) need to be used together in order to achieve the outcome expected for some volume. It does dry out the hair some when washing but doesn't leave my hair like straw after drying and styling. I wouldn't use this daily as it tends to strip the hair but it's definitely worth using if volume is truly what you seek. Surprisingly I still had some volume after the second and third day after using. I have oily hair so seeing my hair oily yet still with volume was unexpected and a surprise to see with this product as it was a first for me. I would continue to use this.

The shampoo was very interesting. It was clear which is something I am not used to. I didn't love how the shampoo smelled it took some getting used to. I like how my hair feels clean and soft after. My hair looked more full after washing it.

I really like how the spray makes my hair feel and look. My hair feels softer and looks thicker. The spray has a great smell too. I would recommend this to anyone with thin hair.

My husband and I are both in our forties, so our hair is a bit thinner than it used to be. For that reason we're always looking for hair care products that are specifically designed to alleviate issues associated with fine and thinning hair. Both my husband and myself found the John Frieda ULTRAFiller+ Thickening Shampoo to do a great job with creating additional volume with our hair. It also rinses out easy and laters really well. Overall, we highly recommend this product!

This is a good combo of shampoo, conditioner, and serum. I felt so comfortable using the shampoo and conditioner that I used them both of my 10 year old daughter. This is the first time I used conditioner on her, and I love her hair even more with it now! I used the serum for myself, and didn't use it for her though, but it has been great on my hair so far. My hair feels smooth, and soft.

The shampoo has a nice clear not too runny texture. This shampoo did a good job cleaning my hair and left it feeling a little fuller. I don't really thing it actually made it look too much fuller but I like that my hair feels softer. The only issue is that the smell of it is very strong and unappealing. Would have been much better with a subtler, natural scent.

This shampoo does what it says - it makes my fine hair look much thicker! I could see a noticeable improvement in my hair's volume after one week of using the shampoo, conditioner, and spray. Usually volumizing products can weigh my hair down, but this was created specifically for fine hair. My hair is thicker, shinier, and has lots of body and oomph. I love it!

This shampoo is what I needed it is super thick a little bit goes along ways and not only that the smell is amazing I gotta say I was hoping it would help my thinning hair as it did not yet but there's still hope keeping my fingers crossed for that

I tried this shampoo for almost a week and it’s not for my hair. It gave my hair itchy scalp. It smells good though.
