I have to be honest I was a little skeptical about cooking steak in the grill. However this cooks steaks amazingly well, it takes all the thought out of the process simply select the cooking function from the menu and the rest is taken care of and it works really really well. I am genuinely supprised at how well this cooks steak. The fact that I can set it and then just leave the rest up to the grill is brilliant. I have tried quite a few different cuts of meat on this ranging from thick to thin and they have come out brilliantly each time. And as an added bonus cooking veg is a breeze on this as well, some mushrooms with a little olive oil and some spices are great. Couldnt recomend this machine more if you are a fan of great steak.

We had 2 basic optigrills in the past and have recently upgraded to the Elite Optigrill. We cook on this at least 3 times in the week. With a toddler and baby we are such distracted cookers… add in a husband who doesn’t eat red meat and me how always wants a steak and you can see how the features of the optigrill meet our family needs. I have recommended this products to family and friends who have in turn purchased it. It can be difficult to manually clean but we use the dishwasher so this isn’t an issue for us. Our previous models modes stopped working (we continued to sue in manual mode) but we haven’t had this occur with the elite.

This grill is the best! I use this just about every other day. From cooking lamb steaks to sausages then if you just want a toastie - the optigrill is perfect. What's even better is the plates come off and they can go in the dishwasher for cleaning. A must have in every kitchen.

I always get perfect results and healthier food made with this I love it.

Great toastys just so easy to make and clean all you need to do is wipe it down its fantastic I need to get a another one coz my brother loved it so much he took it he cooks everything on it meats pancakes so yummy thanks tefal now I need this newer version he he

This is a great grill, toastie maker and all you can eat melted delights. It gets hot fast and is really easy to clean. I like that it is compact so it doesn't take up too much space in the cabinet. LOVE!

This is one of the best sandwich maker I have used in my life I have already used and recommended to all my family members and friends this makes bread proper grilled this is quite healthy and makes sandwich delicious.

First time I used this was to cook me and my family a steak instead of the usual method I normally used which was either on a griddle pan or frying pan, but this was an instant game changer! Cooked each steak absolutely perfect! The cooking timer is brilliant too so your not having to time the food yourself, has a rare, medium, well done, timer, and not only that I was really impressed that cooking steaks in this created no smoke, no fat or grease being splattered all over my kitchen, and it channels all the fat into a tray to easily clean out after! So this compared to frying pans and the mess they make was also a reason I will always use this from now on also you can conveniently unclip the griddle plates and put them straight into the dishwasher! No mess and no fuss! And food tastes amazing as well as being healthier by never having to use oil and draining more fat away from your food so it’s a winner all round never been so pleased with my purchase!
