Tefal OptiGrill Elite Smart Grill is Amazing! I Have Enjoyed Cooking with this in the last 4 weeks, its my new fav thing in the kitchen i have cooked nearly every kind and cut of meat and the results have been perfect. Im not going to forget to mentoin that it cooks vegies and different meals perfectly aswell. The Grill cooks the meat so easily with a few presses of a button your on your way to a pefect cut of meat or meal. Its so easy to cook your meat the way you and your family like it ,using the one touch display screen easy to follow and step by step instuctions tell you what to do and when you need to do it. There are 12 versatile programes, convenient functions include searing boost, frozen food setting, refill mode, and manual mode. Cleaning this little beauty is also very quick and easy witht he removatble plates and fat tray you wont be dissapointed in your new purchase. You will love cooking with this smart girll.

Grilling is pretty easy, put in the grill on the correct setting and wait. The colour change system on the display panel, as well as the beeping was very helpful to understand what stage the cooking was at. As well as having a lot of fat drain out. After the first couple of trial runs, I felt confident that the setting used would produce the result I wanted across different ingredients. I found it a tad weird a first to have meat cooked to the same level from inside to out, my family required using the searing function for steak. Thankfully the grill and trays are dishwasher safe, as they aren't the easiest to clean with a normal dish sponge (there could be an option for a specialised grill shaped sponge). But in the dishwasher, they came out ready to go again. Only real negative is the relative size of it. While not massive, it does use about 35cm x 40cm of bench space. Will happily continue using it, especially for things that spit or have excess fat.

After using the Tefal Grill Elite I was very satisfied, easy to use and easy to clean. I have cooked steaks & burgers which are quite thick and cooked to perfection, the grill tells you when it is ready to put the food on and screen has different colours to achieve rare, medium and well done. there are many different functions available which makes the grill versatile for not just cooking meat.

Fabulous removable grill hot plates makes cleaning just so much easier and convenient than other products on the market. It is an extremely versatile product that makes it a very useful’tool’ and takes the guesswork out of cooking times. The photo was my first attempt at using it and I must admit it wasn’t entirely successful as the cherry tomatoes were the smallest I could find in the supermarket- but they were even too big as they got entirely squashed in the grill Since then I have successfully grilled meat and fish to the desired request, plus lots of toasties I would be interested to read if other members have had the same issue with the cherry tomatoes The only negative would be it is rather bulky but it’s many features outweigh this slight negatives

I like the auto thickness calculation feature which was very helpful in getting a nice cook. What I liked the most was the feature that cooked in stages. Each stage of cooking such as rare, medium etc had a timeframe attached to it so that you can see exactly how long it will take to cook to the next stage. When you are happy with the cook you can take it off there then or leave it in further to cook further. The only thing I thought it lacked was placing a new batch in. A number of times after finishing the cook it did not ask me if I had a new batch to cook and when I placed a new batch it got really confused and started to give warning that it was overcooking. When I switched on and off to come out of this then it started reheating. I am not sure what caused the omission of “More to cook” message and continuing on. Overall I was very satisfied with perfect cooking stages and the alarm feature to warm you that cook is ready. The cleaning process was also very easy.

What a fantastic product. It makes cooking easy and almost fool proof. I also love that it’s easy to clean. My husband even had a go, and he never cooks. It makes delicious meat cooked the way I like it.

I love my new kitchen appliance!! I have a new love of grilling all thanks to this brilliant Tefal product. The grilling result is pure perfection - I have used it for cooking steaks, burger patties and toasties so far and it has come out 10/10 each and every time. The instructions on the screen were simple, clear and so easy to follow, and the timer to let you know when your food is ready just makes multitasking in the kitchen that much easier. Cleanup has also been a breeze, the plates are unbelievably easy to take off and wash. The fat tray is a bonus, no feelings of guilt frying steaks in it's own fat anymore. The OptiGrill Elite Smart Grill is my new found friend! I'm looking forward to cooking so much more and trying the other programs it has to offer!

A clever machine using modern technology to measure the thickness of food and adjust the cooking, The controls are easy to use and understand. The overall construction is good quality, and the electronic display is quite easy to read and understand. I cooked a porterhouse steak to well done as I do not like my steak still mooing LOL, then I removed the steak and let it rest, the steak was cooked to absolute perfection. The removable plates go in the dishwasher and came out perfectly clean so did the drip tray with no greasiness left on them. It is not a big plate to cook on which is a downside for larger families. The unit would be good if you could store it while not in use on its side, so you do not take up too much room on or in the cupboard.It is a great alternative to a BBQing if you are not wanting to cook a lot of food at a time and without the bother of starting up the BBQ or it is raining outside. Has 12 versatile programs to cook food to perfection. I would recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed receiving the Optigrill Elite and experiencing easy fast convenient cooking that was also healthier for Myself and my family. The easy pick grilling options made easy work of perfecting my Choice of meat and cooking it the way i love. Clean up is super easy as well with the detachable grill plates. Overall i am super satisfied with the product and it has become a permanent appliance on my kitchen bench

Best kitchen appliance ever! Easy to use controls and cooks meat perfectly to your liking. Even cooks T-bone steaks perfectly. Steaks are so tender and cooks perfectly in no time. Easy to remove plates makes cleaning a breeze. Never cooking steak in a dry pan again. Can’t wait to try other cuts of meats and recipes from the booklet it comes with.

Grilling results are really very good and really impressed with the smartest grilling. Pre program are easy to use. Intelligence and it's easy to use features. 5 Star from me. As a Happy user I highly recommend to other.

Wow what a grill, im impressed. Tefal has so many feature and options - overall amazing grill. The grill cooks well, quick, keeping the meat nice and juicy. The cookbook is fab! Cleaning was simple and wiped excess right off without difficulty.

It was very easy to understand on how to use it. I love it how it says when its well cooked its well cooked and when i program to have raw meat it does that it's the best griller out by far. The 12 programs is easy to use and understand as i have use it a few times now. i love the easy way of cleaning it and the fat tray do catchs of the run of fat .

It’s great you can cook anything you want me potato vegetables and easy to clean

As soon as I switched it on I got an error code. " Error 12 Product not tested". So in all honesty I cannot recommend this product to anyone as I have not been able to use it at all.
